******************VETTE PEOPLE & CARS ************** (updated: Tues. March 30, 2004)

I took the '57 off for a while and decided to post this shot of the Blazer taken in the "Valley of the Gods" outside Mexican Hat, Utah. I realize that Vette purist's will abhor this Blazer being on a Vette only page, but it was such a neat shot with the sky and the background, I had to include it. Looks like a Chevy ad to me........

This is a picture that Gibber sent me last week. Its a shot of his friend Harry. Harry's '63 or'64 (I'm not sure but the hub caps and hood indents kinda suggest one of those years.) and Gibber's dog Riley. Nice car Harry, hope you enjoy seeing it out there on the web.

Here is a picture of Jackie at our stand at Corvettes@Carlisle this summer. He sent me an e-mail saying he felt bad that I didn't include his picture with the rest of us from Carlisle, Soooooooo ........"Herrrrrrrrrrrr's Jackie"

Here is Paul and his '65 up at Cooperstown last spring. This is a good example of what they mean by "The only difference between men and boys, is the size (and cost)of their TOYS!!!

Above, are three pictures of Linda and I, taken in the spring of 1994. We drove the '68 up to Cooperstown and visited "CORVETTE AMERICANA". Right after that trip, we decided to buy the '94. Long summer road trips in non-air vette's can be murder.....

***UPDATE***

Not being able to contact CORVETTE AMERICANA directly in the last few days, I sent a fax to Rich Lentinello, the editor of VETTE MAGAZINE, concerning the spring show in Cooperstown N.Y. He informed me, that unfortunately he had heard, that poor economic conditions caused Dr.Sheary the owner of CORVETTE AMERICANA, to close the facility and auction all of the cars. Recently I have been able to verify this information. I received an e-mail message from a gentleman who has a friend that actually bought at auction one of the automobiles at Corvette Americana. He also told me that he tried to purchase the '53 himself, but did not acquire it. I personally will miss the oportunity to revisit the museum.

This will probably make Paul sick. Its a post of his white '73. It looks verrrrry good sitting on his lawn. Bet he wishes he never sold it!!!!!!! I sure do.....

The photo at the left of Linda, was taken just off Rt. 66 in New Mexico, at Joseph's Restaurant. I thought the building and the road sign said it all. The photo of me on the right was taken in Tombstone Az. just outside the "OK" Corral. We got there late on Sunday afternoon and everything was closed as you can see from the overflowing garbage can behind me. LOL

Linda and Ann at one of the Corvettes@Carlisle weekends.
