Sing...when the feeling gets too strong for words...

Cast of Characters

You're prolly wondering...SING? What's that? Well, you've come to the right place! I have been looking for a place to do this, and I think I finally found it! So without further ado...

Picture it, New York City, mid 80s. The main setting is Brooklyn Central High School. The Board of Education has informed the principal that the city no longer has the money to keep the school open, let alone finance the annual competition between the seniors and the lower classes (aptly called SING). However, this has been a tradition spanning many years, and the students are not about to let them take away their school _and_ SING. Our heroes :), Hannah and Dominic, who are diametrically opposed on just about everything under the sun, are thrown together (of course) in a strange twist of fate to try and find a way to still have the show. They have to fight their way through many personal obstacles to find a way to trust, and ultimately to love. Combined with some outstanding musical numbers (especially one with Patti LaBelle) this performance within a performance ranks high in my book. If you get a chance to see it, please do!

NEW! If you want an original copy of the movie, go to Virtually Shopping at, go to the bottom for the search, click Movies and type in Sing. There are a bunch of useless results, but about 3/4 of the way down is the movie (it just says Sing)...they are charging $17.57 at current though. But I thought I would let you all in on it.

Okay I now have in my possession a copy of the soundtrack on CD and cassette and I have a CD burner. So I can make copies in either format. You just need to email me and let me know. You also have to be forgiving because sometimes I get swamped in life and I forget I haven't sent things (well at least I'm being honest!) *heh* in any case, email me - and we'll figure it out from there :)
