My cats are great. It started with me begging for a cat, and I got Katie cat, a fun young torishell (or can I say torticat?) that in rather timid and hides under the bed. Once when i was on the computer, I started to hear a thundering of paws slowly coming closer, and I thought ''Great, Katie's being chased, this should be fun'' Iheard the sound turn and run wildly up the stairs: bada-bum, Bada-bum, BAda-bum, BADa-bum, BADA-bum, BADA-Bum, BADA-BUm, BADA-BUM, and then she surfaced the stairs, tore through the office, boucing of the surface of several objects and tore around the upstairs, like some lunatic, going into almost every room, and as I saw her running down the hall throwing her feet out behind her, I saw that bouncing along behind her was a toy fishing rod that was attached to a catnip mouse,she had snatched it from my brother during play, and run, terrified of the sound of it behind her.The toy was never found, but peices of it are still around, mementos of their wild ride the time Katie got mad.

Later, I recived another young cat named Lassie (angelic voices singing) and he is, since he came, my best friend. He came from a kindergarden teacher who has improved my way of life thank you at Good Sheperd Episcipal School. He is my cat, friend,he listens to me, And I....feed him (no wonder)

Lassie is great beyond words, and he is the father of a rather pushy cat (for such a wus) named Geneva and eight other kittens, but we gave them all away. Geneva is scaared of our front rug, but that's because Katie abushed him from under it. You'd think that she could just let him inherit her own timidness, but she just had to inflict it upon him (Lassie helped).

Odd Socks For Animals!

Take part in the Odd Socks for Animals campaign by wearing mismatched socks. When you wear odd socks, people are bound to comment -- which gives you an excellent chance to talk about the campaign your odd socks represent. (Kind of like a ribbon campaign, but much more visible!) It's cheap, it's easy, and it even promotes recycling -- at last there's something you can do with all those unmatched socks your dryer keeps spitting out. So get out that bag of mismatched socks you've been saving "in case the other one turns up" and make a statement against cruelty!

I think Katie will help with this project by placing mismatched sock at the bottom of the stairs, instead of pairs.

ten spay and nueter facts

more than millions of cats and dog are killed a year in animal ''shelters''
sometimes young animals cannot get prper nourishment in shelters
the operation can be preformed on kittens after a matter of weeks
free kittens my tail! sometimes the high price on a pet ($60-$75) from a non-profit orginazation is the price of nuetering or spaying them
a dog's behavior will not change for 30 days after the operation
if your pet looks droopy for a while, don't worry! Mine actully looked pale
NEVER let a pet run around for at least a month, or more after the operation
the older an animal gets in a shelter, the less some people want to adopt them
some shelters dispose of animals after a sort period of time(24 hours)
all animals deserve a home,so don't buy from breeders,nueter your pet, and find out if a cat or dog is right for you first!
