This is the immaculate Callaway C7. It is the epitome of American sports cars. Its body is formed in Germany and is designed by Paul Deutschman. The engine is a derivative of the famous Chevy Small block, as are all Callaway prepared sports cars. During the time it was competing in professional racing it was fantastic, but recent rules changes as well as other new cars, like the Porsche GT1 and the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR, have made this car an anachronism in professional racing. You can still get a similar car from Callaway, the Supernatural Le Mans, made for GT2 racing, but it has a less ferocious motor that only puts out 435 horsepower.
