*HIT THE CAN - Dean stands on the top turnbuckle, and tosses a trash can at a dazed opponent. As the opponent catches the can, Dean comes off the turnbuckle with a seated senton splash ("Crippler" Ray Taylor's Bombs Away finisher) and squashes the trash can into the chest cavity of the opponent.
After a couple of years of preliminary training where he was labeled a "can't miss" prospect, Dean broke into the big time as "The Extreme" Eddie Dean with "Devious" Scott Deville as a member of the Crooked Heels Society. However, when Deville disbanded the group, he left professional wrestling all together and went to look for work in the entertainment world as a stuntman in Hollywood.
Dean was a very successful stuntman, one of the best, but decided to make a return to wrestling. Problem was, he developed quite an ego, as the disillusioned Dean believed that he *was* the star of his movies, and demanded Hollywood treatment. This ego of his paid off though when OLW owner Gregory L. Hooker signed him to be the centerpiece of his newly named Outer Limits Wrestling promotion, where Dean trashed the title belt (a la Shane Douglas) and declared the start of a "hardcore revolution."
Dean is very much adored by his fans, but scorned by all of his peers in the lockeroom for his ego and me-first mentality. This often puts him in unique booking positions, as he will often team with faces that don't like him, but who also realize must play to his popularity in order to keep up their own standing with the fans. Although he competes in a different promotion from "Devious" Scott Deville - his one-time mentor - many close to him know that he harbors an inner jealousy and desire to beat Deville sometime when their futures cross paths.
