OLW - Outer Limits Wrestling

**NOTE: The news that I have heard is that Bret Hart will be announcing his retirement this Monday night on Nitro after years of frustration of where the direction of wrestling was heading, as well as the recent tragic death of his brother, Owen. I realize that some of the angles in this card may mock some of the sentiments that Hart felt for some time, as I have used the OLW to satirize many of the events in the "real" world of professional wrestling. I have considered pulling this angle out, but after investing many months into it, have decided to keep it going. I hope it doesn't offend anyone. I am a huge Bret Hart fan and have nothing against him.

**At the beginning of the program, Mighty Grogan stands in the middle of the ring, refusing to leave until he can get a word with OLW owner, Hooker. Hooker comes down to the ring to speak with Grogan, who complains bitterly about the current direction of the promotion.
Grogan: "What do I have a problem with? I have a problem with the fact that the kids in this day and age no longer have heroes to look up to. When I was brutally attacked by Von Braun a few months ago, all of the fans cheered my nemisis on, while I was taking a severe beating for no apparent reason. I demand that certain changes take place in the OLW, and it can start with the removal of this trash and garbage wrestling!"
Hooker: "I'll see what I can do, Grogan."
(Grogan angrily heads back to the lockeroom.)
Hooker: "Now since I'm down here, I want to address the Renewed World Order, who have been quite a pain in my side lately. I'm talking about you, "Hollywood Hunk," you, Macho Guy, and yes, even you, Liza. I currently have a couple opponents signed for you to face at No Man's Land, but even better yet, I have both of you signed to matches tonight. You want more spotlight in OLW, you've got it!"

*La Tarantula vs. Toshiro Stardust (OLW cruiserweight tourney). In the second half of the first round in the OLW cruiserweight title tournament, Toshiro Stardust struggles desperately against the rule-breaking luchador from Earth. La Tarantula easily counters a moonsault with a devastating front powerbomb "hotshot" type maneuver, and as Stardust rolls out on the floor, La Tarantula finishes Stardust off with a piledriver through a table to advance to the next round.

**The Hunkster, Da Macho Guy, and Liza are shown back in their lockeroom bitterly complaining about how they have been shafted by the matches Hooker signed them for. They refuse to partake in their matches, but Da Macho Guy finally relents and follows the official out to the ring when his time is called.

*Da Macho Guy vs. X-Treme. This is a match between a reluctant athlete and a veteran trying to get back into the mode of things. As Da Macho Guy tries to duck the attack early on, X-Treme chases him down and nails him hard with a powerbomb. Only moments later, X-Treme takes the match with a handspring dropkick, as Liza is unable to distract the referee from making the count. X-Treme finally picks up a "W" after a drought of losses from virtually everyone on the OLW roster.

**Dogma comes down to the ring and takes to the mic. He seems pretty adamant on getting a title shot before the night's end.
Dogma: "Eddie Dean, you call yourself a revolutionary in this great sport of wrestling? You don't know shit about revolution, I grew up in Nicaragua, I see revolutions all da time! You get in the ring and face me, and I'll show you a thing about being 'extreme,' and then I'll pick up where you left off on this so-called revolution of yours!"
(Dean comes out to the ring with Fury, and faces off against Dogma.)
Dean: "You want a shot at this gold? Huh? Well, you've got it, at No Man's Land!"
(Kanazawa comes out upset, as he feels he was cheated of the title at the previous card. Hooker comes out to clear up some confusion.)
Hooker: "Eddie, you've decided to give Dogma a shot at the title at a big OLW event without my approval-- you can't do that. I make the calls around here, remember that. And Kanazawa, after further review of your title shot at the last card, I agree that you shall receive a title shot in the near future, but after Dogma gets a crack at it at No Man's Land. At this event, you shall face Jackson Fury once and for all in a Barbed Wire Double Hell Death Match! (huge crowd pop) But for tonight, you will team with Dogma to face these two as your opponents!"

*Hornet vs. Halcon Oro - cruiserweight tourney. In the final first round matchup of the OLW cruiserweight championship tournament, Hornet and Halcon Oro put on a show for the fans to remember, as their display of athletecism awed the crowd from the opening bell to the finish. The match goes back and forth for several minutes, with neither man able to establish ground control until Oro hits a plancha suicida that knocks Hornet into next Tuesday. However, Hornet still does not stay down for long as he comes back with a desperation surge. Hornet climbs up to the top, but misses a missile dropkick, as Halcon Oro finishes him off with the AVE DE RAPINA (bird of prey) for the win.

**The Satanic Forces get a backstage interview - alone. (In their UCW days, they always used their interviewer as a pre-match warmup. The OLW officials are smarter than that!)
Preacher: "So we come to the OLW only to run into the Illusionaries again! Well, I'll be damned! (looks over to Deathlord before facing the camera again) Maybe not, but you two will be! You can play 'mouse' all you want, but sooner or later, we'll tire you out and bring you home for supper!"
Deathlord: "Yeah Preach. 'Cause Satan 6:66 says that the two punks by the names of Amorphous and Diplopia be going straight to the ICU after this match!"
Preacher: "HELL AWAITS!"

**Elsewhere backstage, Deacon is seen conversing with Grogan. We hear him tell Grogan, "Have faith. Seek and ye shall find. Ask and ye shall receive in full."

*Von Braun vs. Deacon w/ Mighty Grogan. Von Braun takes one look at Grogan before the match, and finds extra motivation in defeating the former GSW champion. This match barely starts when Von Braun knocks Deacon over with a chained arm clothesline.

**After the match, Mighty Grogan is frustrated. He scolds at Deacon, who shuts his ears to the whiny ape-man. Grogan then takes a steel folding chair and strikes Von Braun in the back. The fans begin to boo him, as he waits for Von Braun to turn his attention before speaking on the mic.
Mighty Grogan: "Yeah, that felt real good. Von Braun, you and I have never gotten along. You don't like me, and I bet I like you even less. The OLW isn't big enough for the two of us, so I want to challenge you to a 'loser leaves town' match at No Man's Land and end this once and for all!"
(Von Braun accepts)

*"The Extremist" Eddie Dean / Jackson Fury vs. Kanazawa / Dogma. All rules are thrown out in this match, as it follows along the old line of "folks, we have a slobberknocker here." Action pours inside and out, as no ring is big enough to contain these four individuals. Dean struggles early on until Fury bails him out for a bit. Dean and Fury then manage to beat up on both Kanazawa and Dogma, as Dean appears on the verge of victory with a reverse gut wrench suplex on Kanazawa. However, Dogma strikes him in the back with a pitchfork, sending him outside of the ring, where Dogma hits a powerbomb through a table, before rolling him back in to defeat the OLW champion wth the MISERY MACHINE.

**Jackson Fury rushes to make the late save, but decides to attack Dogma anyway. After a few minutes, Dogma takes care of Fury, as Dean gets up off the ground, the two have a brief standoff before we fade to black.
