STAIRWAY TO HELL EXPLODING RING BARBED WIRE DEATH MATCH

This match is designed to offset the basic principles of game theory and the Nash equilibrium, as two wrestlers jockeying for position try to put the other in the dangerous fields of the exploding ring without caring what consequences he might suffer himself. The ring ropes are replaced with exploding barbed wire, and the ring itself is rigged with explosives that will set off if the trigger is pulled by the rope hanging from above the ring.

For this match, follow these rules:

1-1: You hastily climb up the ladder and pull the rope to offset the ring explosion. However, in your haste you lose your balance, and fall to the mat as the ring explodes, suffering double duty on the way down. Add 4 to your PIN rating, as your opponent adds 3 to his.

1-2: You attempt to whip your opponent into the exploding barbed wire, but he slides underneath the bottom strand at the last minute. Priding himself on his cleverness, he ill notices you setting the ladder near the edge of the ring, and two-thirds of the way up, you deliver a suicide dive out to the floor. Roll on level three offense.

1-3: You attempt to climb the ladder near the edge of the ring, but as you climb halfway up, from the opposite side, your opponent dropkicks/knocks into the structure. You fall backwards over the top strand, only to turn around at the last second and fall mouth-first onto the unforgiving steel guardrail. Add 1 to your PIN rating, and roll level three defense.

1-4: You fold up the ladder and hold it up above your head with both hands, before striking him square on the skull with it. Roll on level three offense or again on this chart.

1-5: You try to whip your opponent into the exploding barbed wire, but he pulls the break, backtracks, and delivers a roaring elbow on you. Opponent rolls on level two offense.

1-6: You are in a suplex position, ready to drop your opponent crotch-first on to the exploding barbed wire, but he blocks the effort. Because of your own vulnerable position, you scramble to do something. Use a Power Roll to determine below (add or subtract your opponent’s power rating from the numbers on this chart).

2-2: As you climb to the top of the ladder, your opponent comes to his senses and manages to tip the ladder over, knocking you from the ladder, into the exploding barbed wire, and out on to the floor! You’ll definetly sustain a concussion from this! Add 2 to your PIN. Opponent rolls on level three offense or on this chart.

2-3: You clothesline your opponent with the ladder, lying him out on the mat. Roll on level two offense or again on this chart.

2-4: Your opponent reverses your attempt to whip him into the exploding barbed wire, but you manage to slide out underneath and out of the ring. However, your opponent places a folded ladder on the edge of the ring, and as you turn around, he baseball slides the ladder right into your face and breaks your nose! Nosebleeds are for sissies, but this one knocks you back. Opponent rolls on level two offense or again on this chart.

2-5: You try to whip your opponent right into the exploding barbed wire, but your opponent may just have enough energy to reverse the momentum. Roll one die.

2-6: You set up the ladder in the position you want, but as you turn around, you see your opponent waiting for you. You charge at your opponent, but that decision proves to be incredibly stupid because he just picks you up and delivers the hotshot right across the top strand of the exploding barbed wire. The instant photo of the shock in your eyes is quite entertaining though. Add 1 to your PIN, and roll level three defense.

3-3: Both men climb to the top of the ladder, and try to knock the other man off. In a rather unique course of events, both men manage to grab the rope, but end up falling off at the same time so that neither man escapes the carnage. The clearing smoke reveals both men laid out from the impact, and both men add 3 to their PIN rating. The wrestler with the higher PIN rating (i.e. the more fatigued) rolls level three defense.

3-4: You place your opponent under the ladder (for bad luck), and stick his head in between the rungs. Holding his head in place, you climb up the ladder until you are standing above his head, only to drop down and deliver a gruesome guillotine leg drop. Opponent rolls on level three defense.

3-5: Standing at the edge of the ring, you fold the ladder up and prepare to use it as a weapon, but your opponent dropkicks the ladder into your face, and you stumble back into the exploding barbed wire! Add 1 to your PIN rating. Opponent rolls on level two offense or again on this chart.

3-6: You both climb halfway up opposite ends of the ladder, and try to beat the other wrestler off of it as the ladder shakes below. Use an Agility Roll to determine below (add or subtract your opponent’s agility rating from the numbers on this chart).

4-4: You shove your opponent into the barbed wire, and after it explodes, your opponent finds himself entangled in the strands. As he desperately struggles free, you climb up the ladder rung by rung, to the top, where you pull the rope and the entire ring explodes before you. Though the explosion causes the ladder to shake and you fall to the mat, the effects are nothing compared to what your opponent has just endured. Add 1 to your PIN rating, opponent adds 3 and rolls on level three defense.

4-5: You try to climb up the ladder, but your opponent catches you before you get too far, and standing below you on the ground, delivers a powerbomb that rings bells in your ears! Opponent rolls level three offense or again on this chart.

4-6: You pick up the ladder, and holding it sideways, you catch your opponent’s gut in the bottom rung and proceed to ram him straight back into the corner, setting off the exploding barbed wire as well. He stares back at you in agony, as you eat up ever second of this in delight. Opponent adds 1 to his PIN rating. Roll on level two offense or again on this chart.

5-5: As you both duel atop the ladder to pull the rope, you shove your opponent off into the barbed wire, and right as it explodes, you pull the rope, setting the whole ring off as well. You, on the other hand, watch all the carnage from above and only descend from the ladder after the smoke has fully cleared. Opponent adds 3 to PIN rating, and you take over on level three offense.

5-6: You try to smash your opponent’s face into the barbed wire, but the attempt fails as your opponent fights back. After delivering a DDT, he drapes you across the barbed wire, gently so that it doesn’t offset the wires, and then delivers a ladder suplex, dropping the ten-foot ladder across the back of your skull and causing the wire to explode in your face. Add 1 to your PIN rating. Opponent rolls on level three offense or again on this chart.

6-6: You and your opponent brawl on the outside, where you lay him out with a stiff powerbomb to the floor. You then crawl back inside and climb up the ladder. As you stand on the very top stop (despite warnings that the top step is not a step!) your opponent slides back inside like an idiot, powerless except to watch you pull the rope and for him to get caught up in the explosion. After the smoke clears, you maintain your balance on the top of the ladder, climb back on the very top step, and deliver a death-defying elbow drop from the top before attempting to make the pin. Opponent adds 3 to PIN rating, and then rolls for PIN (total of four tokens if he kicks out).
