FWA Frontier Visions #8

FWA Frontier Visions #8
Pok-Non “Blood and Guts” Arena, Rigel, Orion

**At the start of the card, Iron Bull vs. Rex Brewer is announced, with Brewer defending the FWA TV belt. The two come down for a face-to-face interview to confirm the match signing, when “Hearthrob” Chris Chandler comes and looks for trouble.
Chandler: “Whoa, whoa, whoa. You mean to give *this* hunk of meat with less brain between his ears than a friggin’ jellyfish on the shoreline, when it was not so long ago that I, the most charismatic star in wrestling today, did not lose the belt that long ago myself? Something’s wrong here!”
Iron Bull: “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TRYING TO IMPLY, ESSE!?”
(“Devious” Scott Deville makes his way down to ringside and also protests because of his victory over Iron Bull at the last card.)
Deville: “Hunk of meat or not, I tore up his ass good, from head to toe, so I should be the one to get the title shot before him. And Chris, don’t even think about getting in my way, ‘cause you’ll just be forcin’ me to kick your ass one more time-- just like I did in the past! That FWA TV belt is coming to me, and I will not be denied!”
(All four men dispute over the situation with the title shot, but are eventually sent back to the FWA booking office to clear space for the rest of the card.)

*Kain vs. Hiram Maxim. Newcomer Maxim controls this match early, but kain takes over and gets the CONVULUSION. However, Kain goes for the cover a bit too close to the ropes, as Maxim manages to put his leg over the bottom rope to save himself from certain defeat. Maxim manages to stay alive just long enough for him to take the opportunity to hit the NO EXIT and pin Kain.

**In the back, the four are still arguing over the main event for the card. One booker suggests a four corners match, but Rex won’t hear of it.
Rex Brewer: “No way! I don’t think you smell what the Rex is brewin’! There isn’t any chance that the most electrifying gigolo in sports entertainment today is going to march down jabronie drive, in front of his millions upon millions of fans around the world, where three other sugar-ass punks will be waiting to lay the whackdown on the Rex. The Rex is only taking on one customer at a time, the same as I do in my other trade, but let me tell you, there’s plenty of the Ladies’ Elbow for everyone. So the Rex says you better resolve this issue according to my terms, and the rest of you oughta know your role, and shut your mouths!”

**A pre-recorded video airs from a night scene in Vegas. A well-dressed man in a tux and a pair of shades walks around the casino tables before stopping in front of the camera.
Unidentified Man: I’m Ken West, but they call me the Ace. It looks like life has been boring lately, and I need to expand my current career plans into other endeavours, and so I hired an agent to find work for me. And among some of the choices, let’s see... UCW, too gimmicky. OLW, too unstable. JAW, pshh yeah, what kind of loser would want to go there anyway? FWA, good enough for me. In the past, I’ve shown that I can get it done in the ring, and sure as hell, I’ll fuckin’ prove it in FWA for all those underpriveleged fans that have never gotten the chance to see me in action before.
(Ken West turns behind him, where a blackjack table is in session. The dealer spreads out the cards, and in Ken’s hand, he has an ace showing.)
Ken West: I’ll split!
(Ken turns his face-down card over for the first time to reveal another ace, drawing the oohs and ahhs of onlookers. The dealer deals a card to each of the aces, a King of Diamonds and Jack of Spades respectively, to show that West has won both of his hands.)
Ken West: ALWAYS... bet on the Ace!

*Theater of Pain vs. Johnny Rage / X-Nails. Rage and X-Nails team up for the first time ever, and their lack of tagging experience shows in this match. X-Nails struggles early but manages to tag in Johnny Rage, who cleans house. However, the demented troupe eventually tires him down, as the Theater of Pain isolate Rage in their corner and take him apart anatomically, almost scoring the pinfall on several occasions. Rage manages to tag in X-Nails at the last second, who hits X Marks the Spot and the NAIL DRIVER to take the pin.

**The main event situation has been solved in the booking office, as a tag team match will take place tonight, pitting Rex Brewer and “Devious” Scott Deville on one team, and “Hearthrob” Chris Chandler and Iron Bull on the other. The stipulations are that if Brewer and Deville win the match, Deville gets the title shot. If the other team wins, the member who scores the pinfall will receive the title shot on the next card. Iron Bull is hardly pleased with the result.
Iron Bull: “What you telling me, man? I work so hard, and you take away my shot, esse? I don’t believe you, man, I’m gonna have to knock a couple pretty boys on their asses, and this other chico before I get what I deserve. All I can tell you is someone’s gonna be hurtin’ tonight, and it ain’t gonna be me, esse!”

**Traitor Blast comes down to ringside, pissed as hell about the shoot that Tommy Leech ran of him on the last card.
Traitor Blast: “If this ‘J. Tommy Leech,’ is in the building right now, why don’t he and I get it on a little bit? If I’m such a pansy-ass as he thinks I am, why don’t he come out and prove it! Leech, I’ll whoop your ass in five minutes or less! That’s a promise! Now get your ass out here and fight like a man!”

*Traitor Blast vs. Tommy Leech. Basically, to sum things up, Traitor Blast tears a new cornhole for Leech in this one. Consumed in furious rage, Blast lays Leech out with a singapore cane, and the miniscule offense Leech launches goes for naught. Blast pins Leech after smashing him with the singapore cane in 4:57, just under the time he promised he would.

**After the match, Blast continues to torment Leech with his cane. Leech tries to get up, but Blast beats on him savagely until he drops to one knee, and eventually rolls over. Blast kicks his motionless body, and leaves Leech lying face down. Fans hear him muttering “next time, be ready to back your mouth, mother fucker!”

**Raza comes down to the ring with his FWA title belt around his waist, and kicks Leech’s still motionless body out of the ring. He takes a couple of minutes to shoot on Leech, before moving on to other things.
Raza: “Brotha, all this talk about who gets the FWA TV title shot just goes to show that no one comes close to matching up with the human suplex machine! There ain’t no fuckin’ person that can match up to me, and they all know it, that’s why they’re going after the second prize! But brotha, I’m sayin’ that if any of you fuckers have the balls to challenge me for this belt, bring it fuckin’ on! Beat me... if you can... SURVIVE... IF I LET YOU!”

*Axiom Ukase vs. Leather Hyde. This match doesn’t last very long either, as Leather Hyde goes right down to business from the start. Axiom reaches for his ax, but Eric Hyde takes off his belt and gives Axiom the beating of his life, before hitting a huge double overhook suplex (a variation of the belly-to-belly), sets up two chairs for SPLIT THE MIDDLE, and finishes him off with RAWHIDE.

**Eric Hyde, still in the ring, grabs the microphone and issues a challenge out to Raza.
Eric “Leather” Hyde: “Raza, you want a fuckin’ challenger to come lookin’ for your belt, you’ve got an applicant for the job! Not only do I want you in the ring, I want you in here next time, one on one, straight and simple! Not only will I beat and survive you, I’ll strap you down silly as a mother fucker in the process!”

**Deville and Brewer are shown in the back lobby discussing their battle plan. Actually, it’s mainly Brewer talking, as Deville obviously does not like the “Electric Gigolo,” and only wants to win the match for his title shot.
Brewer: “Do you smell what the Rex is brewin? Well do you?”
Deville: “Ahh, fuck it!” (turns away)

**Deadlock shoots from the garage again, as he looks prepared for action in the FWA. He promises that is debut will be on the next FWA card, though he does not name who his opponent is lined up to be.
Deadlock: “...But one way or another, it don’t matter, ‘cause I’m here to tear the whole fuckin’ competition up, one at a time or all at once. ‘Cause that’s what I’m about. I’m here to be on top, and I’ll do it by foce if I have to...”
(suddenly, the man in a leather mask runs up and attacks Deadlock with an exhaust pipe)
Deadlock: “Hey, what you up to...”
(Deadlock manages to recover quickly and brawls with the man in the leather mask, before the mysterious stranger stumbles over his feet, and runs off on his own.)
Deadlock: “Hey, get back here! I want your ass in the ring!”

*”Hearthrob” Chris Chandler/”Iron Bull” Tommy Silvano vs. “Electric Gigolo” Rex Brewer/”Devious” Scott Deville. Deville and Brewer are unable to work together from the start. However, Brewer ends up being the one taking the beating, as Deville refuses to help out. Brewer smacks Deville across the face, which prompts the Devious One to light a fireball into Brewer’s face. Brewer backs up into “Hearthrob” Chris Chandler, who hits the HEARTBREAK SUPLEX, but Deville throws Chandler off and tosses him out of the ring with the Crooked Death Suplex. Iron Bull takes the pin, as Deville looks on, and gives him a nod of acknowledgement, as “Hearthrob” bickers about being cheated out of a title shot and we fade to black.
