But as I said, Flair's contract is up in February, and this explains much of the strange things happening to The Nature Boy Lately. The Hogan / Flair push appears to be an attempt to Woo the Nature Boy back to the WCW with the promise of a legit win over Hogan. It's been known for a while that Flair would very much like to go out as a Champion. A win over Hogan would make it that much sweeter. But wait you ask, why did they disband the Horsemen if they're trying to Woo Flair? My guess is that WCW is hedging their bets. If Flair does jump ship, they don't want to have to completely abandon the Horsemen concept overnight. It looks stuipid enough not mentioning a wrestler, much less failing to mention a whole stable. So, they divided the horsemen, such that if Flair leaves they can still have Benoit and Mongo matches without the announcers having to steer clear of what the wrestlers have been doing for the last 3 months. Now, for the reasons that Flair has not resigned. The main factor appears to be Money. Apparently, old Eric Bischoff (Whom I still need to throw in front of a bus for that whole Hennig betrays the Horsemen angle) refuses to pony up the cash. It's that simple. Come on Eric, this is proven star quality material! This isn't a Jeff Jarrett. This is a man who's been wrestling since before you were Bruno Sammartino's errand boy. This is a man who's held more world titles than any three of your nWo members combined. Get with the program. What about the WWF you ask? Well, I have no concrete information other than to say that Flair's people HAVE been talking to the WWF. But this is nothing unusual. Most people when they're resigning, check their options. If you don't, you're either very loyal or very stupid which pretty much ammount to the same thing. Well, I'm running out of things to say. So with that, I'll call it a day. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
