Established in 1998, Re-ACT Consulting is dedicated to providing individuals with disabilities job search assistance and helping employers to integrate individuals with disabilities successfully into their companies.

Placement Program Services and Job Development

Re-ACT can place your disabled client or student into today's workforce.

We provide:

In addition to individual placement, we develop employer relations that lead to supported employment and enclaves. We can also help training programs develop customized training activities for employers that lead to placements.

Placement Program Design and Employee Training

If you want to develop a placement program or need to analyze and improve your existing program, Re-ACT can help. We provide complete, on-site consultation and work shoulder to shoulder with your existing staff. We can create a program that functions effectively within your current framework. Programs need a results-oriented placement program. Re-ACT can help you achieve your placement goals. We can provide classroom and field training to give your staff the tools they need to succeed at placement. We can provide group instruction or individual coaching.

Employer Services and Cost-Free Recruiting Services

Re-ACT works with many programs that support individuals with disabilities toward vocational goals. Re-ACT can provide a pre-screened, qualified candidate for your entry-level position. Whether your need is for part time or full time, skilled or unskilled, call Re-ACT first. We may have just the person to fill your opening. Re-ACT will help you determine the need for accommodations and, if possible, help you find funding for them. We strive to make each placement comfortable for the employer and the new employee.

Seminars

Re-ACT can provide a management seminar that will help your staff more easily integrate individuals with disabilities into your workplace. We explain how to be more comfortable with the ADA legislation that covers employment. They will learn how to legally interview, screen and supervise individuals with disabilities. The training provides exercises that help your staff overcome stereotypes and negative feelings towards the disabled and learn to work more comfortably with disabled co-workers. Since diseases and accidents are not always preventable, disabilities can afflict current employees at any time. As more individuals with disabilities enter our workforce, the information this seminar offers becomes increasingly more vital.
