Colonel Decker was long a nemesis of the A-team. He constantly tried to outsmart Smith but always failed. Their rivalry lasted since the days of Vietnam and Decker could hold a grudge. At the cost of everything he had he tried to capture the A-team. Even when he did capture them he could never hold onto them.
