Born in Pottsville, PA he was a son of Paul G. Kreiger, Sr., Port Carbon, PA. He was the grandson of Irene Kreiger-Steckley and nephew of Steward Steckley, Jr., webmaster of this page.
Paul was a second grade student at John S. Clarke Elementary School, Pottsville.
Paul was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Boys Club at the Salvation Army, Pottsville, and played T-Ball for the Phoenix Hose Company team in Pottsville Rotary Little League. He was also a cast member of the L.A. Dance Theatre, having performed in "The Nutcracker."
