My Favorite Painting in the World:
The Burial of Atala by Anne-Louis Girodet de Roucy-Trioson

Here are a few of my sketches/ paintings/ drawings.

This fine and dandy water color was done just recently, not too great. Its an extreme close up of a raspberry, in case you couldnt tell. (sorry, lost the picture some how)

This second one is um.. a flower. I drew it from real life, which was harder than I thought it would be. The second one of this has color which I added using my computer.

Lately I've been trying out my water color pencils. These are a few of hte results, both good and bad. I think I am improving, but then I get impatient and try to do something too quickly and ruin a potentialy good picture.

This apple is my very first attempt at something real, as apposed to something abstract. Turned out not too bad, if I may say so.

I didn't know what to draw at first, so i tried to inspire myself by thinking of famous paintings. The first was the snunflower one by Picasso. My interpretation of it turned out fine, untill i tried to make it better. The next was Picasso's "Starry Night". This is not my version of it, just something that was inspired by the idea of it.

After several disconcerting attepts at abstract paintings, I went back to something I knew I could do: leaves. I think they're pretty cool, I have them as my desktop pattern, looks nice.

This picture of a black-eyed susan probably took the longest to draw and paint. I think it turned out pretty good, however, the center is a bit too dark. I tried to adjust it with my computer, but I havent gotten it quite right as of yet, and am still trying.

The last I have done is this pine tree and purple flower. It is in my front yard. I'm happy with it.
