Danielle walked around her room looking through all her clothes, "God I have nothing good to wear", she sighed as she finally picked up something. About a hour and a half later she was finally all ready. She had her hair straightened and she wore her dark blue fleece pants and a black tank top that showed off her tummy a little. She sprayed some Tommy Girl on herself as she left out her bathroom. She walked downstairs and picked up her purse and coat.

"Ready?", Ash asked as she sat there on the couch. Her and Dani hadn’t talked much that week after going to Danielle’s mother funeral. Danielle had pretty much kept to herself in her room.

"Yea you wanna take your car to the concert? I don’t feel like driving", Danielle asked her as she picked up her house keys and put them in her purse.

"Yea that’s fine with me, let’s get going to the concert then", Ashley responded as she got up and they both got into Ashley’s car and drove to the arena.

Nick was laying on one of the couches in the backstage area. He was thinking about the girl again. Tonight was the concert in New York and he was hoping that she would end up there and he would see her so he could give her a backstage pass so he could talk to her.

"Hey Nick, you think she might be at this concert tonight?", Brian asked as he walked up to him.

"I hope", Nick sighed.

"Yea I know, let’s get going we got a show to do now. Oh yeah here’s that backstage pass you wanted just in case", Brian said as he handed him the pass.

"Thanks", Nick said as he got up and took a deep breathe, "Please god let her be out there"

"Hey aren’t you that girl that Nick drew?", A girl asked that was in the seat next to Danielle.

"Well it looked like me, but I don’t know him", Danielle told her.

"Well it says on some sites that you two are going out secretly and don’t want anybody to know, so are you sure you are telling me the truth?", she asked.

Danielle gave her a look, "Why would I lie, I have nothing to hide, I swear I have never met this Nick Carter guy"

"Then how did you get front row seats just when all this stuff happens to be going on?", she said sounding annoyed.

"Listen girl, you don’t have to give me a big ass attitude over something stupid I don’t freakin know the guy! And it’s none of your business how I got the tickets!", Danielle said getting pissed off.

"See I knew it! You know him cause you won’t tell me how you got the freakin tickets!", the girl yelled at her as she leaped onto Danielle. Danielle was shocked as she fell onto the hard cement floor, she closed her eyes in pain as she heard Ashley screaming for help and trying to get the girl off her. A security guard finally came up to the girls and picked the girl up off of Danielle and left with the girl as a couple more security guards came to Danielle’s side.

"Ma’am are you alright?", one of them asked as they saw she was bleeding on the back of her head.

"No! That girl just fuckin attacked me, do I look fine!", Danielle yelled in anger as tears formed in her eyes. The guards helped her up, "Come on we’ll take you backstage to get ya fixed up"

"Thank you", Danielle responded as her back ached in pain from hitting the floor so hard, "Ash I’ll be right back"

"Ok", Ashley replied.

Nick was just finishing getting ready as the other fellas came in.

"Woah Nick, ewww man your cut from the back of your head is bleeding all over", AJ exclaimed. Nick looked up as he put his hand on the back of his head and brought it back covered in blood. He quickly went into the dressing room bathroom to clean it up. While Nick was in the bathroom a security guard came into the room. "Hi guys we just had a little fight out in the arena between two girls. This one girl was yelling at the girl that got slammed back onto the floor and she had her back of her head bleeding. I was thinking maybe you guys could go cheer her up or something cause she’s shaking and crying"

All the guys eye’s widened as they had just witnessed Nick’s back of the head bleeding and now this girl’s back of the head did the same, if they didn’t know better it had to be the girl. All the guys nodded and quickly rushed out to where the girl was sitting on the couch getting fixed up by a couple nurses. The girl looked up with tear stained eyes as the guys reached up next to her.

"You’re the girl", Brian said out loud not realizing he had said it out loud.

"What?", Danielle asked, "You mean I’m the girl that looks like the picture Nick drew, and which this girl out there wanted to almost kill me cause I was supposedly lying cause I denied I went out with Nick Carter, and just because I have front row. It’s not my fault I have front row, why does it have to be bad I have front row. My mother wanted me to enjoy this concert, and she’s probably looking from heaven at me right now seeing what a night I’m having. It’s…it’s not fair", Danielle cried.

"I know what your going through", Kevin said kneeling down next to Danielle and giving her a hug, "My father died"

Nick came walking out and began to walk by and stopped dead in his tracks, he was speechless, there sat the girl that he had been dreaming about and finally he saw her face to face. But why was she crying?

Brian took Nick to the side and explained to him about what happened. Nick nodded as he walked over to her as the other guys left to go get ready.

"What’s your name?", Nick asked as he sat down next to her.

"Danielle", she said softly looking up as the tears fell down her face.

"Danielle, that’s a nice name", Nick smiled as he wiped away her tears with his thumb, "Do you know why that picture I drew looks like you?"

"No, why?", she asked.

"Because it is you that I drew", Nick told her, "I’ve been looking all over for you"

"I’ve never seen you before though", Danielle said confused. Nick looked at his watch and reach in his pocket.

"Here take this backstage pass, I want to explain everything to you after the concert", Nick told her as she nodded and took the backstage pass.

"Can I have one for my friend?", she asked.

"Yea sure", Nick nodded, "Be right back". A few minutes later he came back and gave her another backstage pass.

"Thanks", she said with a small smile as they both stood up. Nick reached out and gave her a hug.

"I’m sorry that girl had to do that to you. We can discuss afterwards if you would like to take charges against her", Nick said as he looked straight into her eyes.

"Thanks", Danielle nodded, "I guess I’ll see you after the concert then"

"Yeah c-ya then", Nick smiled as she walked back out to the arena to her seat.

Throughout the whole concert Danielle noticed how much Nick kept watching her.

"So what do you think is going to happen between you and Nick?", Ashley asked as the concert ended.

"What do you mean?", Danielle asked not wanting to admit anything.

"Well do you think you two will have a relationship together or are you gonna say that long distant relationships don’t work again?", Ashley asked.

"Well they don’t", Danielle told her.

"Danielle will you just stop, you two coming together maybe it’s faith telling you he’s the right one, I mean you did say that he told you that picture he drew was really you", Ashley said.

"Yea", she sighed, "Come on lets go backstage now"

"Hey you feeling better now?", AJ asked as he walked up to Danielle and Ashley.

"Hi AJ, yea thanks. I’d like you to meet my friend Ashley. Ashley this is AJ", Danielle responded.

"Hi", they both said at the same time.

"Hey Ashley would you like to go check the rest of the backstage area and meet everybody?", AJ asked wanting to give Danielle and Nick time alone to talk.

"Yea sure", Ashley nodded.

"Where’s Nick at?", Danielle asked.

"Go straight down that hall and it’s the second door on the right", AJ told her as Ashley and him left. Danielle walked down the hall and reached the door. She stood there for a moment and then knocked the door as she heard Nick, "Come in"

"Hi", she answered as she walked in and shut the door behind her.

"You better?", Nick asked.

"Yes, that was a great concert", Danielle smiled as she sat down next to him on the couch.

"I’ve been waiting for you for such a long time", Nick sighed.

"What do you mean?", Danielle asked. Nick explained about all the dreams with her in them and how he had images of her and the same things happened to him.

"Danielle I know you have been really down lately because I know about what happened with your mother, and I’m really sorry. I want to be here for you", Nick told her. A tear fell down Danielle’s face, "She didn’t deserve to die". Nick pulled her into his arms as she broke down, he rubbed her back trying to comfort her.

"I know she didn’t", Nick agreed, "Danielle life is the most wonderful thing in the world but there are some tragedies in it. There are also some great things that come into your life, and I wanna be one of them. I wanna be able to come into your life and get to know you better"

Danielle looked into Nick’s eyes and thought to herself, deep down in those eyes she felt like she had known him for years, he was a truly honest, good looking guy. He wanted her in his life and she actually felt like they had something even though this was the first time she met him.

"I want you in my life too", Danielle said as Nick smiled. Danielle smiled as well as they both leaned in and were caught in a soft passionate kiss.

Danielle woke up with a smile on her face, she got up out of her bed slowly and sat up and thought for a second until she was interrupted by her cell phone ringing.

"Hello?", Danielle answered.

"Hey Girlie, how ya doing?", Nick’s voice said.

"Nick, hey. I’m doing a lot better", Danielle answered. She had thought how much happier she was, just talking to him last night helped her so much, she hadn’t met such a nice guy like Nick in a long time.

"Well then I know a way to make you have a even better day", Nick told her.

"What? How?", Danielle asked curiously.

"Well you do know the Billboard Awards are on tonight and that’s why we have a day off and we’re staying in New York till tomorrow afternoon and I was hoping maybe you would like to go with me?", Nick told her.

"Wow", Danielle smiled and then it faded as she thought she didn’t have a nice dress to wear to it, "I dunno"

"What? What’s wrong?", Nick asked.

"Well it’s kinda embarrassing", Danielle answered.

"Come on you can tell me anything", Nick responded.

"Ok I don’t really own a really nice dress to wear to the Awards", Danielle said quickly.

"Danielle don’t worry about it, we’re going shopping. I’m gonna be getting you a dress", Nick told her.

"Really? No, no I don’t want you spending money on me like that", Danielle said.

"No buts about it, I’m coming by in about a half hour to pick you up so we can both go pick out something to wear for tonight, ok?", Nick asked.

"Ok", Danielle answered, "I’ll see you then". She then hung up her phone. She quickly got already.

"What am I doing, am I really getting involved with him. I don’t like the idea of long distant relationships. I mean how much would I actually see him", she out loud to herself as she heard someone clear their voice behind her. She quickly turned around to see Nick standing there.

"Ashley let me in", he said.

"Umm how long have you been standing there", Danielle asked.

"Long enough to hear what you just said", Nick told her as he took her hand and lead her over to her bed and sat her down he kneeled down next to her eye level.

"Danielle, I’ve been searching for you ever since I’ve seen you in my dreams. You make my world so much brighter. I know that your scared of long distant relationships, Ashley just told me about it. Baby, yes I know I’m in a very busy business but you mean so much to me. I’m willing to do anything for you", Nick smiled as he pulled out a box and opened it up. Danielle’s eyes widened as she looked at it, it was a golden ring and there was a diamond in the shape of a star. He took it out and handed it to her, "Read the inside", he told her. She looked on the inside and it said "Danielle, You’re my shining star forever and always, Love Nick". Danielle smiled as Nick took it and place in on her left ring finger, "Will you do me this honor and be my girlfriend?"

"Yes", Danielle said as tears fell down her face. Nick stood up and hugged her and then kissed her on the lips.

"I’ve never had a guy give me a ring so expensive let alone just give me one to be his girlfriend", Danielle said looking at it and then into his eyes.

"Well baby get ready cause your gonna be treated like a man should treat you by me. Come on let’s get going and get ready for tonight", Nick told her as he took her hand and they left the house to go to the mall.

"We’re gonna get so mobbed in here", Danielle said as they looked through the store they were in for something to wear.

"I don’t care, I want everybody to see the girl I’m with, and how much I care about you", Nick smiled as he continued to hold her hand.

"Look at this dress, wow it’s so beautiful", Danielle smiled as she looked at the price tag, "And costs a fortune"

"Try it on", Nick told her.

"Really?", Danielle asked.

"Yes, really", Nick smiled as she took the dress.

"Now we gotta find something for you to wear mister", Danielle smiled as they walked and finally came up to the perfect tux. It was an all black tux with rhinestones on them and a satin midnight blue shirt underneath.

"Ok let’s go try these on and see how we look", Nick said as they both walked to the fitting rooms and went into their rooms. Danielle stood in her room looking at the dress on her. It was a long length midnight blue dress with two slits up the side and spaghetti straps with a silver glitter over the dress in stars. She smiled to herself as she walked out to see Nick standing there in his tux, he looked so good.

"Wow", Nick said as his eyes widened and he stumbled over his words, "You..look beautiful"

"Thanks", Danielle said blushing, "I like that on you, it looks really good"

"Ok let’s get these then and then we gotta go to my stylist so we can get our hair down and then get ready for tonight", Nick told her. Danielle nodded as they both changed back into their normal clothes and went to the register. After Nick paid for it, they walked out of the store into the main part of the mall hand in hand. It was then they heard screaming.

"Oh no we’re gonna get mobbed", Danielle said as they looked behind them as a crowd came up to them.

"Nah, don’t worry I won’t let any of them hurt you. I’ll just do a couple autographs and pictures really quick", Nick told her.

"That’s nice of you", Danielle smiled as the crowd came up. Nick began to sign autographs for them and take pictures when the girls asked who the girl was. He told them that she was his girlfriend and most of them took it pretty well as they took lots of pictures of them together and asked for her autograph as well. After about a hour Nick and Danielle left the mall.

"Did you see that diamond ring on his girlfriend Danielle’s left ring finger?", one of the girl fans said to the crowd.

"Yeah I know that’s the girl that he drew too, do you think they are engaged?", another said.

"I dunno, let’s go get these pictures developed and get a close up done on her left ring finger and get it on the web", the older girl said as they all nodded.

Nick and Danielle sat in the back part of limo area as the guys sat around the sides and in the front. AJ asked Ashley to go with him, and all the other guys had dates as well.

"Nervous?", Nick asked.

"Who me?", Danielle sitting back as Nick put his arm around her.

"Yea you, you sure have been acting like it. Your all jumpy baby. Calm down, it’s gonna be fun. Walking down the Red Carpet is always pretty fun, just lots of interviews and cameras flashing and people screaming on the side and it’s just plain nuts I hate it", Nick said with a serious face.

Danielle’s eyes widened, "What?"

Nick laughed, "I’m just kidding baby, it’s nothing that bad"

"Nick geez you had me scared", Danielle said shaking her head.

"I know", he grinned, "No really all we really do is walk through have a couple professional pictures done for the papers and some fans on the side take pictures, some autographs we give out and have a couple interviews and then we go inside and sit down"

"Ok", Danielle smiled as Nick kissed her on the lips. The limo stopped as they pulled up to the Red Carpet. The door was opened by the driver soon. Nick stepped out first and helped Danielle out as everybody else got out behind them. Danielle and Nick held hands as they walked down the red carpet. Danielle looked around as she saw the fans on the side, they were pointing and she overheard them saying Oh my god that’s the girl that was on the internet that’s said to be his fiancée. Nick overheard it as well as both him and Dani looked at each other. They were interrupted by John Norris from MTV news.

"Excuse, hi Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys everybody", John Norris announced as they were live on MTV. Nick greeted him nicely.

"So Nick there’s been some rumors going around that your engaged to the mystery women that you drew a picture of and was shown on the Rosie show. No one has seen her before and now here she is", John said as the camera was shot on Nick and Danielle as Nick had his arm around Danielle’s waist.

Nick gave a light laugh and small smile, "Well let me introduce my girlfriend to everybody. This is Danielle", Nick said as Danielle smiled and said Hi, "And no I don’t know where the rumor came about that we were engaged. But about the picture I drew of Danielle. I would like to clear up the story of that. I drew the picture in my free time on the tour bus, I had never met Danielle before when I drew that picture but when I showed that picture on the show, I found out Danielle was real when some other girls took pictures and posted them on the web and then I met her backstage at one of our concerts after she got hurt"

"Ah ok folks I hope that clears everything for you", John said as a fan nearby held up a picture of a ring on Danielle’s left ring finger.

"But then what is this ring?", she asked.

"This one?", Danielle asked holding up her hand showing as the camera took a shot of it.

"Yes", the fan nodded.

"That’s the ring I gave her to be my girlfriend", Nick explained, "Well now that we got everything cleared up we’re gonna go enjoy the show now". Danielle and Nick then went inside to their seats.

Danielle unlocked the door of her house as Nick stood there behind her. They walked in and turned the lights on as they shut the door behind them.

"Man I can’t believe your leaving tomorrow", Danielle sighed as they sat down on the couch in the living room.

"Yeah I know. We only have been able to spend two days together, why don’t you come on the road with me for awhile?", Nick asked as Danielle laid her head on his shoulder.

She looked up, "Nick I have college, I have a life of my own too"

"Yeah I know, I just don’t want to be apart from you", Nick told her as he rubbed his hand up and down her cheek softly.

"Well either do I. How long does the tour have to go for?", Danielle responded.

"Two and a half months more", Nick told her.

"Well I think we can make it, I mean we have phones and airplanes when you have a little time off and I’m sure I could at least come and visit you when I get some time off", Danielle answered looking into Nick’s eyes, "It’s gonna be hard not seeing you but I want to give this the best try ever"

"Me too baby", Nick said as he pulled her into his arms tight and kissed her on the forehead.
