Jason Bly's All-trac Page
This is my Car list so far. It will allways be changing. So come back to find out what else I have stuffed under the hood.
- Turbonetics Modified CT26 Turbo w/ TO4 compressor wheel
This is currently in the works my car is sitting in the Team 3
garage waiting for a turbo. We are currently looking around for a turbo
to be able to handle at least 14 lbs. of boost. My old turbo was pretty much shot.
So it shopping time.
- Custom 3" stainless steel from turbo back, Dynomax muffler, 5" tip
This was installed in July of last year by Denko Performance. I don't
recomend going there since it was three months late in being put on. And it
needed extra hangers put on and was missing bolts which caused nasty exhaust leaks.
- G-Force reprogramed Computer
A major pain in the butt. It was sent out to California to G-force
for fuel, air map changes, boost pressure changed to 14 psi and removing of the speed
gov. Took four months to get it right. But **it happens sometimes. My car ended
up sitting for three weeks until another 88 All-trac computer could be found.
- OZ Racing Monte Carlo Racing 17 x 7.5 Rims
I got these from L&M Sales in Abbottstown Pennsylvania. They gave me a good
deal on them with tires. It was exactly the look I wanted to give my car. Great rims.
- Modified Toyota Intake w/ K&N Filter
Nothing Special here. Just took the bottom of my intake box and used a K & N
Drop in air filter which helped with quicker throttle response considering it had alot
tubing to go through before entering the intake itself.
- Greddy Turbo Timer
Problably the first thing done to my car was installing my turbo timer to
prolong the life of my turbo which you see was probably too late since about three
months after buying my car the turbo started "sputering" and continually got worse.
but it was to be expected since it was almost ten years old and had +90,000 miles on it.
- Clarion Stereo system(w/eclipse comp. & Orion Sub)
Gotta have good tunes! So I installed a Clarion 7535 head unit for quality sound and
very flashy too, concidering it costed more that my high end desktop unit at home. I also
put eclipse components and Orion Cobalt 12" sub in the back. all running off of an Alpine
3522S amp. I will soon be getting a pair of Soundstream Competition 12" subs and better
amp to replace the Orion 12.
- Nitto 450 Extreme tires
I bought these from L&M Sales also to replace my old tires since the Nittos feel
so much better.
That's what I have so far besides all the small things like tint, shift boot cover, racing pedals,
stickers, stuff like that. But there is always stuff that needs to be done and repaired since its is
an older car. The total amount spent on the car so far since I purchased it in December 1996 is around
$8000, not including repairs due to the accident in January where I hit an ice patch and almost flipped
it going over an embankment. But in the future I plan on getting a racing clutch and an air to air
intercooler with a blowoff valve to replace the stock liquid intercooler.
There are still many things in the works that I'll dump on this site in the future but thats all
for now. hopefully I can get at least 400 horsepower out of it by the end of summer. But I don't want to
do anything stupid and end up blowin the motor trying to out boost myself so I am going to be causious.
Right now with all of the mods done to it now I am looking at close to 350 horsepower at the flywheel.
which is enough to send the 5.Slow boys home to milk the cows, but I know the car is capable of alot more
but it got to be done right. So stay tuned for more info and pics on the beast in the near future.
