In the beginning...The three original members of Immature are Marques "Batman" Houston, Jerome "Romeo" Jones and Don "Half Pint" Santos. They got discovered in a school talent show as a group and signed on to Hook Management. They signed a contract with Virgin Records and in 1992 released their first album On Our Worst Behavior. Then Don's parents decided to take him out of the group after he was missing school and starting to spend less time with his family and friends. Then LDB came into the group and Chris Stokes then signed the group to MCA--from then on the group went strait to the top. The foundation of their current reign at top was laid with the 1994 #1 smash and certified gold #1 single "Never Lie" from Playtyme is Over, their first million-selling album. In 1995 they released We Got It which included "Feel the Funk," a sizzling slow jam from the charttopping Dangerous Mind Soundtrack, a hot lead single and a song that Batman had written for his mother, Carolyn, who was fighting cancer-I'm sorry to say that Carolyn is no longer with us. She passed in February of 1997. During a painful time of mourning, Batman and Immature were able to work on their newest album The Journey, which was released on September 23, 1997.
