JB's Comparison Page 1

RE:
Stumper #7:
I agree George is elusive, but actually there is too much data, multiple choice of at
least 4 scenarios. 3 of them are already on the Day Family pages.
I have one proven line from Robert Day of Hartford. One source gives him a
brother George b 1606 who is father of George b 1640; a second says his cousin
Nicholas is father of George b 1640. Look under Day Family Trees for the lines of Charlene:
Descendants of George DAY, Sr
and of Pamela:
George Day
They are not identical but close. The other piece of the
puzzle is in the tree of Sue Day Hafners own multiple generation chart: https://www.angelfire.com/pa/DayFamilies/myfamilytree.html
for Robert listing the few earlier generations which reflect silmilarities
to George's ancestors.

My own interest is also reflected in my posting in the Robert Day of Hartford
section:
Listed under John Van Buskirk
I have a 2nd Day line in New Jersey Phoebe Day m Jonathan Dayton
her parents Jared Day and Mary Gildersleeve, his parents Samuel Day and we had
Mary K, none of these sources show that wife, but Jared shows up on the list.
I first had another source sent by e-mail pretty much the same but that one gave
the 2 Georges in a row. Thus I agree there is still a mystery. I notice
another query for a Jehiel Day that seems to be a brother of my Jared in the above listings.

These mysteries do seem to be coming together. See my website http://www.geocities.com/vanbus1/
I assume we can say we are cousins somewhere on this line.
