Major Ronald Yates, 2nd Tennessee Volunteers

Major Yates, age 53, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 4, 1998 due to complications related to surgey. Ron was a skilled commander, a fine officer and a true Southern gentleman. He was proud of his family and his home, the fine state of Tennessee and spoke highly of her people. Major Yates was a friend of Company H and will be sadly missed.Thank you, sir, for your valuable service. Our prayers are with you and your family.
