• Workshop on Fisheries Legislation was held 4-9 April 2005 in Honolulu: Recommendations were
• 1) Training on the SPC socioeconomic manual should begin
• 2) Countries should be trained to conduct their own Fisheries management Plans as soon as possible
• 3) A regional approach is needed to resolve problems faced by countries in the management of their live fish food industries
• 4) Workshops to resolve difficulties in the development of community based management should be held on a sub-regional basis
