I have gone out and purchased some more modeling equipment.  I'm using the Woodland Scenics turf and other products.  For local people around Launceston both Birchalls and Tiger Hobbies sell these Products
as well as stocking a great range of slot car kits and cars at pretty good prices too.

I have also gone out and purchased some trees which have been done by Life Like.

Once I have the model part of the track completed I am than going to rebuild my track using the new scalextric sport system if you are unsure wether to go sport or not check out the article from slot car illustrated.
