Vacation Pictures

Ahhhh. The tourquoise waters off Ningaloo Reef, near Exmouth. You can walk right off the beach into some fantastic snorkelling, complete with sharks and turtles, rays, and some pretty big fish.

The downsides? Sand so hot you have to run, and sun so intense a t-shirt is a good idea for all but the most mahoghany of skins.

Not all beaches are good swimming...several people have been lost at this site north of Carnarvon.
