Or at least that's what Elisabeth calls it. I call it What the...? On Monday I got hired for this job that will start in 4 to 6 weeks and I've just been re-hired over at the book store starting in 2 weeks until I start my other job because they're short staffed.

Also in the What the...? category, does anyone else have alot of trouble sending out e-mails through Hotmail? I receive them just fine but can't seem to send anything until after about 12 million tries.

This link comes from my wife and addresses the White Hell (sort of) that has rocked this country. Sort of. We're close enough to London to experience the "London Effect." This basically means that all bets are off when it comes to forecasting the weather in and around London because, uh, erm, uh... it's London?

>Phew< I'm glad that I'm not to only one prone to inane, drunken rambling at all hours of the night. The big question right now, is who won Edward 40 Hands?

Hey, I don't even remember leaving that message... oops... we didn't end up playing, instead drank a 26er of rye with mike and then started on a 26er of rum... believe it or not I wasn't tooo hung over the next day... gotta love gatorade!!!!!!!!

p.s - drunken insane rammbling runs in the family :)

Catherine, You're much too young to be drinking rye. Angry, middle aged milkmen drink rye, not women in their early 20's.

i.e. Rye is Stephen's drink of choice

HA HA Rye.

Also, yes I have been having trouble sending from hotmail also! It's been frustrating me to no end. I hate hotmail. AND YET I CONTINUE TO USE IT.

Congrats on the raining-pouring job offers! Did the bookstore want you back for good? It's not as good of a job as the one you just got though, right?

Like a sucker, I'm gonna stick with Angelfire until I've sucked it dry. Hotmail too. Maybe it's a form of rolling blackout - first the UK, then Canada, then, I don't know, Ecuador - that's making these most important services in our lives work, then not work, then work again, then not work again, and then work again, and then kinda work but not quite, like it's really, really slow, and then work so well you think that it's fixed, but then it totally doesn't work for a day, and then it works again for a couple of months, until...

Regarding the bookstore; the manager's moving on to greener pastures and they'll be short-staffed for a couple of weeks until a replacement is found and since I'm cheap & don't need training (Insert incontinance joke here), they took me back like the jilted lover I am. (Sorry, Elisabeth)

For the record, I've never even tasted the wretched stuff.

My sister got her own website. Not this free pop-up in my face angelfire stuff, but her own domain name.
Apparently it only costs about 10$ a month for like 2 gigs of space!!! with no pop upps or adds.

I've considered it, but it would be a waste - we don't need too much space to keep this site running & that kind of money adds up. I can always upgrade with Angelfire & get a domain name, more space, etc. And besides, when you stop paying for that stuff, it all disappears - I want to keep these crazy bloggy things around for a while.
