Past - Like many in the world of Beqanna, the past of Pure Innocence is not the most pleasent story to tell. When she was a small child, her mother was killed by her father, for reasons she had no way of knowing. Having just been weaned, she was fully capable to take care of herself, and learned to do just that. Unfortunatly, after a while, her father, and the remainder of the herd began to push her away. Her mothers past seemed to have been passed-on to her, even though she had nothing to do with it. Soon enough, Innocence was considered a complete disgrace, and was chased away by her sire. Having had a few run-ins with cougars, and other predators on her journey, she came to the conclusion that a home was most definetly a necessity. She came upon a fork in a well-worn path, and took a chance at following the illuminated one, hoping for a bright future in a new land.
Upon reaching this, yet to be determined, place, she was approached by a stallion by the name of 'Ice Blaze.' She was immediatly overcome with love for the male, and agreed to join his herd. At the introduction to the rest of her stallion's cadre, she meet his lead mare. It was obvious that Ice Blaze cared very much for Innocence, and his lead was obviously threatened by it. From then on, she seemed to do everything in her power to push Pure Innocence away, and make her life miserable, hoping that perhaps she would just give-up and leave. However, no such thing was possible. After finally finding a place where she felt loved, Innocence was determined to remain there, by the side of her stallion, no matter what.
About a year after her arrival in Beqanna, another male wandered into Ice Blazes' territory, requesting permission to start a second herd within the realm. Being the generous fellow that he was, Ice agreed, and welcomed the new male into his home.
Not long after, Ice Blaze was called away, but for what Innocence had no idea of. Within this time period, she got very close to the stallion named 'Wreathed,' and though she hated to admit it, she had fallen even deeper in love with him. Unfortunatly, Ice Blaze never returned from his journey, and sent message that he left his mares and territory in the possession of Wreathed.
The rest of the herd either requested their freedom, or simply never came back, all except Pure Innocence. She was over-joyed at being able to join Wreathed, and finally felt as if she truly belonged. Sweetness, a long-lost friend of hers, appeared some time after the departure of Ice Blaze, and was accepted into the new herd.
The three lived a somewhat quiet life until a few years later, when Wreathed was called upon to take his rightful place as King of the Lights. Of course, he accepted the responsibility, and they moved to Heaven's Gates, where they still reside.
Pure Innocence has since birthed four foals. Three males, and one female.
Their names are: Purely Twisted, Dilemma, Moana and Séarlait.
