| I was born and raised, until the age of 8, in a small A-frame house on Stemler Rd. in rural Millstadt, Illinois. When I was 8, my family moved to the edge of town in Columbia, Illinois just about five miles from our A-frame in Millstadt. We lived in a tract house on Fairfax St., on the outskirts of a small farm, until I moved out for college when I was 17. Columbia was a small, monochromatic, German town in the southern Illinois suburbs of St. Louis. Needless to say, I was very much ready to get out when I moved off to Judson College in the fall of 1999. My dormitory on campus was just off of N. State St. in Elgin, Illinois in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicagoland. I lived there for two years, making frequent trips back home, until I left college in the spring of 2001. On May 6, 2001, I made my move to Oceanside, California in North County San Diego. I lived with my parents in a large vacation rental on Cleveland St., just two-and-a-half blocks from the beach. It was a big change but a good one to be sure. My parents and I moved into another tract house on Avenida Oceano late in 2001. Finally, on August 10, 2002, I moved into my own apartment on Oceanside Blvd. | |
