A detective of a local police department gets caught in an investigation
involving a large amount of diamonds stolen from the Diamond Museum.
The top suspect is an underground Russian crime boss operating
in the United States. When he and his syndicate, known as The Remurs,
find that the diamonds were taken by the town prankster, the boss abducts
the boy. The boy's older sister attempts to locate her younger brother
with the help of the detective.
