around, so too have been garage bands. Over the years some of these bands make it professional, while others keep it as a hobby.

With bands like Silverchair, Sunkloto and Powderfinger making names for themselves on the Oz music scene it is no wonder why upcoming band MilitiA want to be on the scene as well.

Because MilitiA has talent determination and

everthing else needed to step onto any stage.

Already "MilitiA" has won countless competitions including "Live & Loud" Battle of the bands and the band is always performing at youth fests and mini days out around Gladstone and Central Queensland.

Their best gig so far has been headlining the second stage at the Wickid 2001 tour’s concert in Rockhampton, with bands like Super Jesus, 28 days and The Cruel Sea.

In 1999 MilitiA supported "Taxi Ride" in Gladstone when they toured, and helped to bring in the year 2000 at the city’s street party, which was attended by about 10,000 people.

The band was formed in 1998, and consists of 4 members: James Penny, Steven Skerman, Daniel Noe and Calum Penny.
