Hello all you have found the coolest page on this site... mine! (Yea, right... Billy did all the work; I am along for the ride). So coming up with words for my page isn't the easiest task considering that my life is my husband and kids and nothing in the world could replace that!

I am keeping my fingers tightly crossed for Billy's job situation... but I trust that good things are to come in due time. Other than that he has been cooking dinner on almost a daily basis for us and that is just wonderful, considering the kitchen isn't my strong suit.

Sadie amazes me with the amount of knowledge she comes home with on a daily basis. Whether it be how to cope with the hardships of friendships or the MLK assembly that she attended and learned for the first time about the prejudice that existed and as she very boldly told me "did you know some people feel that way mom"... trust me that lead to some long and honest conversations. She also shared with me the other day that she could no longer eat chicken because she might get "cow disease", trust again that long conversations ensued in regards to the safety of our food and just how our food ends up on our table (I am surprised she will eat anything at this point).

Syrah continues to be a handful, but so much fun these days. Just this weekend she learned to say "daddy" which replaced "dada" (the bond with Billy and Syrah has grown in leaps and I can truthfully state that she is beginning to be a daddy's girl). Beyond the new words that she is learning on a daily basis she is also finding so much more of a personality and it is so wonderful to watch her intake this world.

On a last note.... Mariners Baseball is almost back and I have a feeling this will be a big year to talk about... GO MARINERS!!!!
