Karate History: Briefly trained at the age of 14 at a local gym, paid for and passed my 9th Kyu grading but then never saw our Sensei again. Joined GKR in 1999 and started training at Lalor Park. Currently I am a 3rd Kyu enjoying training with Susan, my wife and Dean, my brother, who are both currently 6 th kyu.

Favourite Techniques: Head Level Change-up Kick (Front to Round)

Favourite Kata: Doing it - Bassai-Dai Watching it Kanku -Dai

Karate Ambitions: To have the time to train as often as I would like and to reach a level of skill and confidence to start teaching.

Hobbies: reading, watching movies, and playing with the kids.

Favourite Colour: Blue.

Favourite Authors: Stephen King, Terry Brooks and any one who has written any of the Star Wars books.

Favourite Music: Rock from the 60's on.

Favourite Groups/Singers: From Matchbox 20 to Metallica, Incubus to Iron Maiden and everyone in between.

Most Hated Thing: Brussel Sprouts

Favourite Places: Orpheus Island (Great Barrier Reef) and my Bed.

Ambitions: To continue to grow older and happier with my wife, Susan; To be the father to my children that they deserve and to help them be all that they can; Oh and see Parramatta win a few more Grand Finals.
