It's a series of original pictures, that have a funny quote added to them that could be what they might be saying at the time. Some of them are also scanned in from books, magazines, and from the web. Some pics are just funny without a quote.
3. Aren't some of these pics copyrighted or pictures of people who might not want their likenesses used of this purpose on the web?
Yes and well, we don't care and if you can't deal with it, don't fucking look at it.
4. Aren't some of the pics sexist, racist, etc...?
