It's hot, I'm tired
I want to go to sleep
But I can't
what a bore.
And this thing
continues to beep
it's really hot
the sun will not
stop creeping up the wall
and very soon
it'll be so high
i won't see you at all
maybe it's because
my eyes are closed
as i sleep
forever more
