You cut through my defenses.
My carefully built brick wall
has no strength against your attacks,
your quiet subterfuge.
You've not given me in words
what my heart has heard in your hands.
The promises made by your fingertips
as you run them through my hair
have never passed your lips,
not even in a kiss.
And yet i believe.
I want to believe,
to break down my wall,
to lay open my soul,
to give myself to your hands
