Thanks to Sandra for letting me use this picture, she recently spotted Daniel and Kathleen at a Hi-5 concert in Brisbane, Australia. Here is what Sandra wrote at the Jennifer Waite Messageboard:

"Well, it was a surprise I tell ya, and a wonderful one too. I took Nicole to see the Hi-5 concert in the city. I almost missed it though - I had written in my diary that it was to start at 3pm. At 1pm, I went to get the tickets from the drawer, and I happened to see 2pm written on it!!!!! Needless to say, I feaked out .... and thanked the stars I managed to notice on time. Anyway (I'm sure you did not want to know any of that), the show was brilliant, not only for the kids,but for the parents as well. I laughed so hard, I had tears streaming down my face - so well done Hi-5!!!!
After the show, I was going out of the building with my daughter and her friend who came along with us. I was going through the exit on level 1 when a little birdie told me to go down another level and exit from the same door I came in. This exit was exactly in front of the stage door exit and i saw a few mums with the kids waiting there for autographs. I had nothing to be signed, so I decided to walk past ...... until among all the mums, I saw a guy in a white shirt - so obviously I looked twice ...... and realised it was Daniel ..... so I looked 3 times *lol*
I grabed the kids and walked towards the stage exit door to say hi. He was very nice (as usual). I asked him what he's been up to, and he said he's working on something new ..... but cannot say too much about it ... ah well, I'm sure it's gonna be big and great!!! So can't wait."

Last night, both Darren and Daniel appeared at the ARIA Awards in Sydney, Australia. No one actually knew the would be there.

Darren performed one of  Delta Goodrem's songs in her honour because of her hard work helping in the fight against cancer. Darren was dressed in black and he's got the black hair back, guys ;)

Straight after Darren's performance, Daniel and his fiancé presented an award for best pop and of course - Delta Goodrem won it. She was in absolute shock after Darren's touching performance and this was nearly too much for her at once.

IT was Kathleen de Leon who got the biggest surprise at the '70s themed birthday party she organized for her boyfriend and former Savage Garden member Daniel Jones on Saturday night.
A teary-eyed Jones professed his love and proposed in front of more
than 100 people – including his shocked parents – at Brisbane's GPO, and presented Ms de Leon with a plastic flashing ring.

Of course, she said yes.

Ms de Leon, a member of popular children's group Hi5, and Mr Jones
met at the Logies "three years and two weeks" ago and have been
inseparable ever since.

The couple plan to base themselves in Brisbane and are building a
seaside house at Raby Bay, where Jones can also moor his large boat.

Originally from Logan, south of Brisbane, Jones and singer Darren
Hayes hit the world stage with their hugely successful group Savage
Garden, selling 20 million albums before the partnership broke up in
October 2001.

Ms de Leon spends weekdays in Sydney, where she films the hugely
successful children's show Hi5, and flies back to Brisbane for
weekends.

On Saturday night, family and friends, including a large contingent
from the rock 'n' roll industry, Tyrone Noonan from Brisbane band
George and Aneiki, turned out in fancy dress to celebrate Mr Jones'
30th birthday.

Having cut his guitar-shaped cake and thanked his guests, Mr Jones
took off his '70s wig and said: "I need to be serious now . . . I
want to ask Kathleen a question."

While Ms de Leon proudly wore the plastic flashing ring on Saturday
night, it is understood the couple will be starting their search for
a more permanent symbol soon.

Savage Garden will NOT re-unite

After many rumors on whether or not Savage Garden would re-unite, Tracey (Darren Hayes' sister) made it clear in the 4th issue of D-zine that Savage Garden will NOT re-unite. This is what the statement said:

"During the last month a global rumor also started claiming that Savage Garden were on the verge of a reunion. we are not really sure where this started but we believe Daniel Jones was misquoted in an interview that started the commotion. We can confirm however that this is not true, and there are no immediate plans for the band to reform."

So it's clear - Savage Garden will not re-unite guys :(

Charli from the Australian kids TV show "Hi-5" got married in March and Kathleen de Leon brought partner Daniel Jones with her. A little over 100 people had gathered to see Charli and her fiancé, Brent Delaney get married.

The ceremony was held in St. Patricks church in Sydney, Australia.

This picture was taken from the article "My Dream Wedding" in Woman's Day 31st of March 2003.

Under the picture was the following text:
