Hansen Wendlandt

Howdy, from the Union Church Student Intern, leader of the fearless Youth Group! I have to say it's great spending time with them because they are a great bunch of young people. The rest of my time is spent as a graduate student at Boston University, studying theology and ministry, and rowing on the Charles River nearly every day. Arkansas is where I lived for much of my life, but my last year before moving here was spent failing to get a tan in Florida. As well, I've been to too many colleges (Drake U. in Iowa, U. of Arkansas in you-guessed-it, and Oxford U. in England) and had too many summer jobs (canoeing guide in Minnesota, church camp ranger in North Carolina, and urban naturalist in St. Louis) to really call anywhere a home. So, I might as well claim Beantown and the Red Sox, but I'll never let go of my Cowboys and southern roots. If you think you can handle a person like that leading your Youth Group, or if you know I'm just crazy enough to have a good time at church, I invite ya'll of the teenage variety to join me and the rest of the Union Church Youth Group for our Sunday night get-togethers, where at any given program we might be working on a mission project to Nicaragua, or talking at Starbucks about problems at school or in society. Love to see ya'll there.

Peace,
Hansen Wendlandt
