the years you've known my mum,
You've
treated her with love and respect,
You've
stood by her through good and bad times,
You've
shared laughter and tears.
When
she was down, she turned to you,
When
she needed to laugh, she turned to you,
When
she shed a tear, she leant on your shoulder.
You've
been a wonderful friend to my mother,
All
the times she was in need of a friend, you were there,
You've
always been there to offer your great advice,
To
show her things from many different perspectives.
No
matter what the problem was, you never gave up,
Even
if you didn't know what to say,
You'd
just sit there quietly and drink your glass of wine.
Just
being there, knowing she has your full support,
Means
so much to my mother and I,

helped her get through so much.
