In the 80s there were only 3 vice presidents and 3 presidents total. Only one vice president elevated to being the president: George Bush. The presidents in the 1980s did not have to worry about somethings our current president have to worry about,such as National Security and the economy failing due to war. In the 1980s the United States were not involved with any wars.
