Ho Ho Ho From Lynndsey 2005

Well Lynndsey has finally reached her senior year.
How time flies. I think she is enjoying her last
year of high school and looking forward to her future.
Lynndsey has been keeping very busy as Editor of Chief
for her school news paper "The Sandstorm". She spends
hours and hours of her own time getting things ready.
Lynndsey is applying to several colleges, we are not
sure where she will be attending yet. Her top choice's
are Washington State/Pullman, WesternWashington/Bellingham,
or Central/Ellensburg. Her last choice
is in Lagrande right near here.
Oh and I do recall hearing something about
Weber state in Utah. Ho hum, so many choices.
Lynndsey is such a positive happy person.
A very sparkley girl who liven's up the room
just by walking through the door. She is so positive
and caring. We are discovering that she is true
to her "Aquarius" character of wanting to save the
world. She seem's to be driven to help others.
I guess this would work well if she pursues a degree
In education. :)which is where she is leaning right now.
I think she would be a wonderful teacher.
Lynndsey loves her siblings and they ALL look
up to her with oodles of admiration in their eye's.
I am so proud of Lynndsey and the young women
she is becoming. I really really look forward to
to watching her grow in life.

2004

Well here we are almost to the end of the year.
This mean's Lynnds will turn 17 in Jan.
Can you believe how time flies?
Seem's like just yesterday Lynndsey was a
tiny lil girl. Not anymore, nope
she is growing up so so fast. And
I do mean growing up.
She continually amazes me with her spririt
and confidence about life. I think
Lynndsey has great things in store for
her life. She seem's very focused
and know's what she wants.
She carries herself better then I ever could
have hoped for. She is a very impressive
young woman. And she is beautiful not only
on the outside but through and through
inside and out. She is caring towards other
and respectful towards herself as well.
Lynndsey currently has not one but two jobs.
And she does great in school. Her last
report card was 3.6 Not too shabby at all.
She really enjoys her journalism class,
which happens to be something I really
enjoyed when I was in highschool.
In fact during the first week of Dec. 04
The Tri-City Herald, contacted
her school looking for the girl who
wrote an artical in the school paper.
They wanted to know if they could publish
it in the Sunday paper.
The article was a true story
about her losing her father in a drinking
and driving accident.
She went on to try to get through
to other's her age about making
wise choices when it comes to that.
We are all SO proud of her.
Lynndsey also got her first car this last year,
and her license. Scare me to death!!!
I guess all mom's are going to be scared.
So far, she does really well with her
driving skills, which helps ease my mind...sorta!!
Lynndsey does have a steady boyfriend who
we have all come to really really enjoy.
His name is Jared and he is an absolute
sweetheart!! ......... well until
you see him out playing hockey and
cream somebody on the ice *Ü*
Boy were we surprised when we watched
for the first time. They are both
really really good kids and since
most kids "do" date at this age,
I am glad her choice is Jared,
I feel safe with her choice and
I can rest easy that niether of them
will get into any trouble.
Lynndsey "is" planning on going to college.
We are just not sure of all the details yet.
Such big decisions, where to go, what
to study ect... ect.... She gets
nervous at times and I don't blame her.
Anyhow, continue to watch Lynnds
I think she has some amazing things
in store for us !!!
