The ikon of my patron Saint, St Nilus of Sora
Hello everyone and welcome to this page and site by Reader Nilus AKA as Jeff Nyman.
I became an Orthodox Christian on Pascha in 1989, and was tonsured a Reader by His Grace Bishop TIKHON in December of 1992. In 1997, I become out of communion with the Church because of my living arrangement with my lover and wife Malona. You see we are not married in the eyes of the Church, not because we do not want to be married, but we have yet to find a priest who will work with us to get us married. If that was our problem, we could handle that, but that is not the pressing concern as I publish this site.
Malona is disabled and has no income, as she fights social security for SSI. I was fired by my boss in December of 2001 and was out of work until I became a carrier for the Portland Oregonian. In September of 2004 I had to leave doing that because in August of that year I totaled our car in a blinding rainstorm. So from September until now I have not had an income either. Needless to say we are in a world of hurt!
As you can see I love to smoke cigarettes and I prefer non-filters but there are a couple of filtered cigarettes that are good, and one that is cheap!
