Aberdeen is the largest city in Grays Harbor County. It is one of the wettest spots in the United States, as it gets lots of rain, and makes Seattle look like a desert. A normal year will bring 80 inches of rain to the folks in Aberdeen.
Aberdeen is on the Chehalis River, about 20 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. It is the town that gave the world Kurt Cobain.

Clarks
Restaurant
is one of the best eateries on the coast of Washington. Located just
south of Aberdeen at the village of Artic, it is a great place to get milkshakes
and ice cream, they also have great hamburgers, plan on a meal there if you are
on US 101 between Aberdeen and Raymond!
