new review added.

yes, it has been awhile since i have updated anything on here. blame my other job where for a little over two weeks i was running around with guns in cammies providing a blanket of freedom for rhode island.

ok, maybe it wasn't that dramatic, but while we were in this "heightened security alert" i had to play commando on my base for a couple of weeks. waking up at 4am really fucking sucks.

i got my first hatemail response for one of my reviews. at least the first in a long time. first off, i want to say that i love getting that shit, because debates about music and tastes are really fun. especially when i'm told i should change the "error of my ways."

anyways.... this guy was trying to compare Bueno to At the Drive In. c'mon, you can do better than that. i love it how everytime someone hears a band that they find exciting or new, they automitically relate that band to ATDI. find another reference point please, because A) Bueno sounds nothing like At the Drive In, and B) since i hope you already knew that, putting a couple of fancy licks over power chords does not keep something from being pop punk.

i'm re-listening to this cd right now, and i was very right when saying that Bueno (at least this cd) is not only pop punk, it is extremely pop punk. this sounds just like NOFX, and what are they? check and mate.

but who really cares about the little organizational titles i put things in? this guy just read blah blah blah pop punk blah. if you would have read a little deeper, you would have seen that i gave Bueno a good review. relax, buddy.

on to something else, buy the new White Stripes cd, and while you're at it, get the new Cursive one. both rock. and if you're at AFI in Boston on May 9th, say hi to me.

constant tattooing makes you sick. i'm trying to finish my new sleeve by summer, so i'm going every week now. i don't know how much longer my immune system can take this kind of abuse. this plus soccer games plus skateboarding = blah. i'm also going to the doctor today for my ankles. i sprain them stepping off of curbs now. last time i went to the doctor, she gave me vioxx (an arthritis medicine), told me to wear high tops, and to come back in a week.

bought AFI tickets for the boston show. say hi if you see me. also got a motorcycle this week. send flowers to the newport hospital in about a month.
