Ch. 11 Jayde opened the door slowly. On the ground she saw the empty bowls and glasses. Jaymee and Lu were curled up on the bed, and Al was sprawled out on the floor. A small smirk crossed Jayde's face. She didn't know why she enjoyed keeping them human. It wasn't smart. They could get away too easily. But it was still fun. Like keeping hamsters or something. *I guess I should at least change Al* She thought to herself. She didn't want him getting too old. And years flew by like days to her. The girls though, they could stand to mature a little more. Heck, maybe she could get Al to do it. Wouldn't that be ironic? Jayde sighed and kneeled down by Al. She had just brushed the hair back from his neck when she heard him scream. "NOW!" Al yelled. Jaymee and Silent Lu lept at Jayde, suprising her and knocking her backwards. Al jumped up and ran for the door. He managed to get halfway down the stairs before Jayde had thrown Jaymee and Lu off of her and began chasing him. "LAYLA!" Jayde screamed, and before Al could reach the bottom, Layla was down there waiting for him. "No where to run my pretty polka-meister.." Jayde grinned. "God Jayde! Is that the best you can do?" Layla yelled. "No where to run blah blah blah.. LAME!" "Shut up Layla!" Jayde yelled. "Did you read Hansel and Gretal before you planed that statement? That's it, I'm finished. You want him, get him yourself!" Layla yelled back, then stormed out the door. But before she ever set one foot outside, the police came charging in. "There he is! You're under arrest lady!" one of the men shouted and charged at Jayde. Jaymee and Lu were able to push past them, grab Al and run outside where Jon was waiting for them. "Jon!" Al cried. "Al!" Jon cried back. "Man! I thought you were dead for sure!" They hugged each other. Jaymee sniffled and threw her arms around Lu. Lu sighed and held Jaymee. "How did you find us?" Al asked after a few moments. "The number showed up on the caller ID on my cell when Jaymee called. When she got disconnected, I knew something was wrong. I called the cops with the number, but they made me wait to file a missing persons report! Hence the reason it took so long to find you." "Damn The Man!" Jaymee yelled. Lu sighed and smacked her forehead. Suddanly, Al's stomach growled. "Come on guys, let's go to Denny's. I'm starving!" Jon smiled and threw his arm around Al's shoulder. "I really missed ya man!" Jaymee came up and wrapped an arm around Al's waist. "So, when do we get our backstage passes?" Al, Jon, Jaymee, and Lu all laughed as they walked off to the nearest Denny's.
