We had made it to Little Hyatt. The site of our first camp. After getting the highlines up and the animals taken care of, we played in the cool waters of this lovely lake.



Cheri's husband met us on the trail and spent the night at our first campsite.



Jassper and Biscuit. Jassper's first time on a highline and my first time to set one up.



Camp at Little Hyatt. We had a thunderstorm this night. In fact, we had thunderstorms each day we were out.



Next morning and we are ready to go again. We had gone 4.8 miles yesterday. Doesn't Jassper look like a pro?



We headed off towards Hyatt Lake, 4.5 miles away. Right from the start, we climbed. This was one of the switchbacks on the climb up. It was pretty warm that day. It was such a relief when the rains came. It was a gentle rain and very refreshing.



We came to a couple of deadfalls. Jeannie and Prince make this look easy.
