In my family, obesity is all around me. Just about everyone in my dad's said of the family are obese--in fact, I stick out like the blonde woman in The Munsters. I'm hopeful that my family will become more aware of the risks they have with being obese and are more motiviated to do something about it.

While researching for this paper, I realize exactly how many people are at risk for diseases because of becoming obese. And even if people choose not to become vegetarian, perhaps they have the knowledge to know that the pills and surgery can't compete with physical activity and a good meal plan.

Everyone really needs to think about what they're doing to themselves. Then act on it correctly.
