Reflection: Communication

In the book, Microserfs by Douglas Coupland, it was a quick read. I really enjoyed reading it and found it very entertaining, so I had no trouble getting through it.

There are many forms of communication. The book emphasizes on the internet (of course) with email and chatting with instant messages. I found that I could relate to the characters because of their interests are like mine. I, however, do not have my world centered around computers. And although I know a lot about them, more than the average person at least, I hope I never have my life revolve around anything like coding! :)

I chose the picture above because it makes me think of people going through cyberspace, which has to do with the book. And although people don't truly know each other's gender, I think it is still possible to unknowingly give out your gender when "chatting" to others.
