Brian's Part:
Being in a hospital
Description: Brian's scene is the introduction to the video. It shows him glaring at a sick person in a hospital bed, as the view becomes closer it shows that it is Brian himself in that bed. It also has a heart monitor which shows that his heart is about to stop beating.
The Meaning: All this is supposed to represent Brian and past with his heart surgery. It shows his difficult struggle and pain during that tragic period of his life. The heart monitor was to represent the time when his heart stopped at the age of five.
Represents: Struggle through life, fear in death and leaving those you love
AJ's Part:
In the Bus Ride
Description: AJ's part has him in a bus staring at a picture of a girl. He is crying as he is saddened by the face he sees in the picture in his hand. Just then the exact girl from the picture walks by and takes a seat, AJ looks at amazement wondering if it really is her. Suddenly then she disappears and AJ knows it was only an illusion.
The Meaning: Long ago AJ use to have a girlfriend who sadly passed away in a car accident. The girl in the picture and bus was supposed to represent her. AJ says that he still misses her beautiful face to this day.
Represents: Losing someone you loved
Kevin's Part:
In a hotel room
Description: Kevin is sitting in a hotel room watching old videos and slides of his father and him (Pretty straight forward).
The Meaning: The meaning behind Kevin's part is really sad. Kevin's father died from cancer and when Kevin heard the news it broke his heart. This is to show Kevin remembering his father and how they were once together. When Kevin sings the words,"Are you with me now?" he looks up into the sky. When he does this it means he's looking up at heaven and is asking his father if he's with him now.
Represents: Losing a family member
Nick's Part
On the streets at night
Description: Nick appears out of the mist and dust on the sidewalk of L.A. In Kevin's scene it shows a girl fighting with her boyfriend. Nick then sees the same girl walking across the street all upset. She is so distracted she doesn't notice a bus is about to get hit her, Nick then pulls her out of harm's way and looks her straight in the eyes.
The Meaning: Unlike the other BSB members Nick's part has no connection to his personal life or experiences. Nick says he was lucky to never have experienced loss or a death. Nick's part shows that you have to watch out for others and be aware of what they're going through life. Nick and the guys were always there for one another through the ups and downs. You may have a friend or family member who is going through a hard period of their life and you have to be there.
Represents:Reassurance that you're never alone
Howie's Part:
In a Cafe
Description: Howie is sitting in a cafe shop with a cup of coffee. A girl then starts running up to him but as she gets closer she suddenly fades away. Howie then sees Kevin and gets up, puts his coat on and heads out with him.
Meaning: Howie's part is somehow suppose to represent his sister Caroline, and how she died from Lupus. I think the girl was to represent her and that when she faded she faded it was to show her leaving the world. Howie says that he feels comfortable about the subject of her death and that everyone shouldn't only consider this as a tragedy. He says that it makes you more aware of these kind of things and that it encouraged him to take action. Howie made a fundation to help find a cure for Lupus.
Represents: Also loss of a family member
