THAILAND ITINERARIES

The Colors of Thailand
10 Days/9 Nights

Day 1 Depart Los Angeles on Singapore Airlines to Bangkok.
Day 2 Late-night arrival into Bangkok. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight Bangkok.
Day 3 Sightseeing tour of Bangkok visiting the three most famous monasteries in Bangkok: The Marble Temple, Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the Golden Buddha Temple, concluding with a visit to the Grand Palace. Overnight Bangkok.
Day 4 Morning departure by road to Damnoen Saduak floating market.   Boat trip around the market; drive to Wat Don Wai, and Wat Raiking.  Lunch at Rose Garden before continuing to Nakhon Pathom to see the Pra Pathom Chedi, the tallest chedi in Southeast Asia. Return to Bangkok by train.  Overnight Bangkok.
Day 5 Excursion to the magnificent ruins of Ayudhaya, the former capital of Thailand, visit to Bang Pa-In, the former Summer Palace.  This evening enjoy a genuine Thai dinner followed by classical and folk dancing.  Overnight Bangkok.
Day 6 Flight to Chiang Mai.  Transfer to your hotel.  Overnight Bangkok.
Day 7 Depart for Chiang Rai, the first stop on your excursion to the famous Golden Triangle.  Visit Ya and Akha hill-tribe villages and then continue to the border town of Mai Sai.  Return to Chiang Mai.  Overnight Chiang Mai.
Day 8 Visit Mae Ta Maan elephant camp.  In the evening experience the Kantoko Dinner, an important part of Northern Thai culture and hospitality, followed by a performance of hill-tribe music and dance.  Overnight Chiang Mai.
Day 9 Return flight to Bangkok.  Transfer to your hotel.   Overnight Bangkok.
Day 10 Transfer to Bangkok airport for return flight to Los Angeles on Singapore Airlines.

TREKKING IN THAILAND

Biking In The Golden Triangle
4 days/3 nights

A cycling adventure starting in Chiang Mai to explore the Golden Triangle, visit hill-tribe villages and tour the Myanmar border town of Tachilek.
Trekking In Chiang Mai
6 days/5 nights
The Mae Tag area offers a great scenic beauty and villages that have managed to maintain much of their traditional way-of-life.  Program includes two-night stay in local village.
Three pagoda Pass
4 days/3 nights
The Three Pagoda Pass has for centuries been a gateway for Thai-Burmese trade.  It is the only reasonably accessible border-crossing point for hundreds of miles.  It was also the invasion route most favored by the Burmese armies (1350-1767), and more recently was a terminal on the Death Railway during WWII.
TOURS  INCLUDES:

  • Round-trip transportation from Bangkok or Chiang Mai
  • Tourist class accommodations in shared twin with breakfast
