Kern County Rabbit Breeders Assoc Open Show in Bakersfield, CA. White Standard Rex Senior Buck Berlena's Klondike took BOSB in a class of 14 Rex. I scratched all my French entered in this show due to some majorly blown coats. Nobody was up to this one. Northern Area Council Open Show in Turlock, CA. Our Rex were up against some pretty stiff competition at this show. The team of Sarman/Richards were there with their very outstanding Rex. And a young man whose name I didn't catch, also brought some very nice animals. I was honored to lose to both. Needless to say I was drooling over such gorgeous Rex. White French Angora Junior Doe Wolf Hollow's Frosty Lady took BOSB in a class of 11 French. Central Valley RBA Open show in Hanford, CA. Black Otter Standard Rex Junior Buck Wolf Hollow's Cro Magnon took BOSB in a class of 19 Rex. White Standard Rex Senior Buck Berlena's Klondike took BOV out of around 7 or 8 whites. White French Angora Junior Doe Wolf Hollow's Frosty Lady took BOV out of 6 whites. Colored French Angora Junior Doe Wolf Hollow's Dusky Lady took BOB out of 14 French. This was a very proud moment for us. Keep It Hopping Easter Show, at L.A. County Fairgrounds in Pomona, CA. Colored French Angora Junior Doe Wolf Hollow's Dusky Lady took BOV out of 7 colored French. White Standard Rex Senior Buck Berlena's Klondike took BOV out of 8 whites. |

REX NATIONALS, Albequerque, NM What a great show!I had so much fun. Got to meet a lot of the top breeders in the country. Went home with 4 more rabbits than I came with(of course).And my bunnies did pretty good for me being a newbie. My black junior doe was placed 5th out of 11 rabbits. I think that's pretty good. But the big news came in the Open show the second day. My white senior buck took BOSB, and my black junior buck got 1st in a group of 6 juniors. So he got a leg too. I think this was pretty darn good. Golden West RBA, Pomona, CA
My chinchilla junior buck also took 1st out of 6 junior bucks. That gives him a leg as well. |

I have taken the summer off. I don't like to travel in an unairconditioned vehicle with my bunnies in the summer. So will not be back to showing until October. See ya then.

My white senior buck took BOSB again. That's his 3rd leg for his grand! Now he gets
to retire to the rabbitry and sire a lot of nice babies.
