Smackdown Results

I have some spoilers from smackdown which took place last tonight....some of the main things that happened were the first thing is that HHH came out and started bragging about the title, soon after words the Rock comes out and challenges him, but HHH says "NO"! During the argument HBK comes out and says that HHH Will defend the title against the Rock, but soon afterwards Shane McMahon comes out and says that he is going to be the second special guest referee, but HBK informs him that since he (HBK) is in charge of setting up matches for the WWF superstars and that Shane fought at SummerSlam that he is already booked for the evening in a match that he ruined on Raw is War against none other then Mankind! Some of the other things that happened were that DLO Brown took on Hard-core Holly with Crash at ringside......the match ended up with DLO leaving and Hard-core and Crash dunking it out! Mark Henry (Sexual Chocolate) Vs. Val. Venis....winner Val Venis, but was a non title match! Jeff Jarrett Vs. Billy Gunn....sorry can't remember the winner, but the highlight of this match is that during the match Chyna came out and Decked Debra with a guitar! Jericho Vs. Road Dogg....winner Road Dogg after Jericho smashed him thru a table! Al Snow Vs. Big Boss Man.....Boss man comes out and tells Al snow that he will give back Pepper for another title shot.....of course Al Snow accepts....Winner Big Boss Man gains the Hard-core title back! Triple Threat Match....X-Pac and Kane Vs. The Acolytes Vs. Big Show and Undertaker....before it even starts the Undertaker goes to the announce table and tells Big Show to fight....the Undertaker never leaves the announce booth....and while the Acolytes are beating up Kane outside the ring X-Pac is pinned by the Big Show! During a special presentation Shane McMahons sister comes out and asks Test to come out....well of course he does and she tells him Yes to his Marriage question from Monday, which of course brings out Shane and the Posse! Shane holds back his sister while Test tries to take out the Posse but is soon over run and being beating severely, but coming to the rescue is non other than Mankind, which takes out the Posse and then tells Shane that NOW is the best time for their match! Shane is soon in the mitts of Mr. Socko and while the Posse is trying to get back into the ring, Test takes them out! Winner Mankind! Also Brisko and Paterson wound up running out to help! Shamrock Vs. ?.....this was sort of weird, because Jerico's follower (sorry, his name slipped my mind) Came out to Warriors music again and said something to the ring announcer....they had a few words and Jerico's follower hit the announcer...with the announcer getting back up and hitting him back and out of the ring....soon Jerico came out and sort of scoulded him for what had happened...on their way out, they played Shamrocks music and Ken came out and passed them.....Shamrock said something to Jericho, so Jericho sent his little helper back after him, and Shamrock then chased them both out of the arena! Final Match....HHH (with chyna) Vs. The Rock (with special referee Shawn Michaels) a good match...both started off with special moves early, but both moves were countered Chyna was caught "low blowing" the Rock and was kicked from ringside which soon after brought out Shane screaming at HBK! Everything seemed to be in The Rocks corner...first the Smack down....the going for the People's Elbow...off one rope, then off the other.....then on his way to the elbow drop...HBK KICKS....YES KICKS! The Rock in the face....which of course HHH grabs him for the pedigree! The show ends with HHH, Chyna, Shane, and HBK standing in the entrance way..holding the belt! I believe that was the end of the taping..but after that the rock got back up and HHH came back out to finish him off...which led him straight into a Smackdown, which caused Shane to run out and he also received the same...HHH got back up and another from The Rock and HHH landed on top of Shane and the Rock gave the elbow to both of them at the same time! Some other things that happened were several shots from the "Blonde Bytch"and a via satillite link with Stone Cold who said he would be out for about a month and a half!

WWF Sunday Night HeAt Results 8/12

Dark Match

- Kurt Angle over Skull Whistler by pinfall after a Death Valley Driver-like slam
* Skull looked really impressive and this match received a lot of heat for itself, mainly due to the crowd being so pumped up about the matches actually starting. Skull nailed a powerslam, a lariat, a brainbuster, and a set of three rolling suplexes (like Tori does) on Angle, who was selling most of the match. Angle finally picked him up on with the DVD and slammed him down for the 1-2-3.

Sunday Night Heat

- Before Heat went on the air, announcers Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly came out to surprisingly good pops.

- Howard Finkel (a.k.a. "The Fink") usually does a countdown to let the fans know when to scream when the crowd is scanned all around during the pyros for the tapings, but since the Titan Tron showed the Heat intro, everyone knew when the pyros would come off... The pyros go off, and as always, they are EXTREMELY loud... The crowd was then shown...

- Triple H interview
* Since the crowd was so excited about Heat starting and all, it was virtually impossible to hear anything during this particular interview. It seemed like Triple H made fun of Jim Ross' Bells Palsy, and I may add that Ross was interviewing Hunter. Then it seemed like Triple H congratulated Chyna on her #1 Contender's position and said that she received his opportunity. Very hard to hear or understand at this point, but nothing big happened.

- Al Snow over The Blue Meanie by submission to the Texas Cloverleaf
* Referee, Teddy Long, came out in to the ring when the cameras weren't on. Blue Meanie came out to a fair pop, and then Al Snow came out to a bigger pop with the crowd chanting "We Want Head" throughout the early stages of the match. Pepper, who Al Snow brought with him, was given to Michael Cole to hold until after the bout. Meanie quickly tapped out to Al Snow's Texas Cloverleaf submission hold. After the match, when Al Snow didn't let go, the "King of Swing" Stevie Richards ran in to the ring from backstage and nailed a Stevie Kick (Superkick) on Al Snow so he would break the hold. The Meanie and Snow reunited then, but the crowd booed since Al was a bigger babyface than the Meanie and he was nailed at the end. I tried to start a "bWo" (Blue World Order) and an "ECW" chant, but no one caught on and no one seemed to know about the bWo or who Stevie Richards was anyway.

- Kane over The Big Show by disqualification when Hardcore Holly interfered
* The Big Show came out to a mixed reaction from the crowd, and then Kane came out to a monster face pop. During the match, Kane ran in to The Big Show's boot and was also belly-to-back slammed as well. From backstage, Hardcore Holly ran out and started nailing Kane which automatically led to TBS getting DQ'ed. Holly and Paul Wight then double-teamed Kane until The Big Show chokeslammed Holly for causing him to get disqualified. After the chokeslam on Holly, Wight was clotheslined over the top rope and out of the ring by Kane. Crowd pops big.

- Undertaker over X-Pac by pinfall after a Tombstone Piledriver * The Acolytes came down to do color commentary for his match. The Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer came out to a mixed reaction. X-Pac comes out then to a killer pop from the crowd. X-Pac did his usual moves, with the spinning kicks and all, but was caught in the end when he was going for a top-rope flying cross body block on the Undertaker. Out of that, the Taker nailed Sean Waltman with the Tombstone for the pinfall. Then The Big Show came out and chokeslammed X-Pac, which caused Kane to do a run-in with a steel chair for the save. However, once he got in the ring, the Acolytes, who were doing commentary as previously stated, ran in from the back and attacked Kane and then left. Kane and X-Pac then left together after the assault on them was through. (Why is it X-Pac and Kane who get "beat up" on WWF televising every week?)

- Shane McMahon and Test interview
* Shane McMahon, who gets the most heel heat of the night, comes out to many "asshole" chants. He talks about Test and Stephanie's relationship and challenges Test to what he called something that sounded like a "Love it of Leave it" match, in which if Test won, Shane would stay out of his and Stephanie's relationship forever, and if Shane won, he can never date Stephanie again. Test came out to a big face pop from the crowd and accepted. He also added something along the lines of Shane finally getting what he deserves coming.

- At this point, when Heat would normally be on commercials in between matches, I saw Meat and Road Dogg behind the Titan Tron, so they would be coming out some time pretty soon.

- Edge and Christian battled Sho Funaki and Papi Chulo to a no contest
* Edge and Christian came out of the crowd from section 204. The brawled on the Raw is War ramp and then the Hardy Boyz and Gangrel interfered. After all of the men brawled back to the ring, Gangrel nailed Edge with his Implant DDT and the Hardys did their usual senton splashes, beat up Christian and Edge, and left along with Gangrel.

- Meat over Jeff Jarrett by pinfall after the Meat Grinder
* Jeff Jarrett and Debra came out to mainly a face pop (which was all due to Debra) and a lot of "We want puppies [clap, clap, clap, clap, clap]" chants broke out. Meat came out to almost no pop at all, but Terri Runnels was with him, so the fans were more in to this bout now as a result. Jarrett attacked Meat before the bell and in a boring match with a lot of rest holds and basic moves, Meat pinned Jarrett via the Meat Grinder while Debra and Terri were arguing at ringside. After the match, Meat and Terri left after they celebrated and Jarrett was pissed off at Debra again and he started screaming at her. D'Lo did a run-in and beat up on Jarrett. He then offered to take Debra to the back but she refused.

WWF Raw is War Results 8/12

Raw is War

- Before Raw went on the air, Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler came out to huge pops, bigger than most of the wrestlers on Heat and Shotgun received.

- Triple H and Chyna interview
* Triple H comes out first (out of the many, many times when he comes out total during the Raw tapings) and immediately calls Chyna out. Finally, the crowd was a little quiter now since we already saw Hunter out once on Heat before and a lot of the matches on tapings prior already ended. Helmsley said Chyna stole his title shot and that this is Chyna's moment of glory. He tried to suck up to Chyna by recalling past memorable Royal Rumble and King of the Ring moments that included them. HHH said he never asked Chyna for anything, until now. He made it clear that he wants her title shot at Summerslam on 8/22 from Minneapolis, MN. Chyna then replied and rejected Helmsley's offer. Triple H then got all pissed off and said that he made Chyna what she is today and could break her. He then called Chyna an "ungrateful bitch," which caused the crowd to "ohhh" at that, while expecting Chyna to nail Helmsley right there and then. He dissed Chyna for taking what is rightfully his [the title shot]. Chyna then said something along the lines of "You don't have the balls to break me!," and left while the crowd popped big.

- Road Dogg over Al Snow by pinfall after the Big Boss Man interfered
* Pretty good, solid match. Al Snow out... His pop is smaller now since the crowd doesn't take it as anything new since he already came out once on Heat once before. Road Dogg out to a major face pop. During mid-way through the match, Al Snow missed a well-executed moonsault off the top rope and Road Dogg started nailing Snow with his dancing jabs. After he nailed him with them, he did a second pair but Snow moved out of the way for the final punch and the referee was knocked out instead. As a result, the Big Boss Man ran out and nailed both with what I think was a nightstick, but I can't remember since I didn't write it down. He then placed Road Dogg on top of Al Snow, the person with whom Boss Man is currently feuding, for the pin. After the match ended and I believe Raw went to commercials, Pepper was carried out to the backstage area.

- The Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer and The Big Show interview
* Taker immediately said that it's time to shut up and play time is over. He announced that the Acolytes would take on Kane and X-Pac for the WWF Tag Team Titles tonight as a result of what happened on Heat earlier. He said that the winner of the Summerslam main event would have to duke it out with The Big Show some time in the future, so the winner is actually the loser. He then talked about Death Valley, CA being so hot that only the cold-blooded survive (crowd starting chanting "Austin" and "Rattlesnake" since a snake is cold-blooded)... He said that armageddon was now upon the World Wrestling Federation. Then the Millennium clock appeared and counted down from 00:06 to 0 and then Jericho came out to mainly a face reaction. He said he came out to save this segment and was scared at the amount of TV time the Undertaker and The Big Show get and that when they come out, people switch the channel, which caused the crowd to pop greatly towards his comments. He also said that the Hero had arrived. The Undertaker then said that Jericho is going down once he gets his hands on him.

- Chyna over Triple H by pinfall in a #1 Contender's match after Mankind interfered
* Chyna took the early advantage and nailed HHH with a DDT. Afterwards, Triple H stomped on Chyna and shoved the referee away with force, which would normally cause a disqualification. When Chyna gained the advantage later on and Triple H was down near the ring ropes, Mankind (Mick Foley) ran out of the backstage area to a huge pop, took the steel steps at ringside, and nailed Triple H in the head with them while Chyna and the referee were "talking." After that, Chyna pinned HHH to retain the #1 Contender's spot for Summerslam vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF World Title. Michael Foley then grabbed the microphone after the match and said that there was/is a lot of sexual tension between Chyna and him. He then asked Chyna to give him the #1 Contender's spot for Summerslam and the fans went crazy when Mankind asked them what they thought about that idea. However, Chyna low-blowed him from behind right when he held up the microphone to see the fans' response to the offer. Chyna then said something like "Incase you didn't figure, that's a 'no!'" Shawn Michaels, the WWF Commissioner, then came out to a gigantic pop and said that his good old buddy, Mick, deserves a title shot and since he makes all of the decisions here, he said that Mick would face Chyna later on today in a match for the #1 Contender's slot at Summerslam.

- Test over Steve Blackman by disqualification when Shane McMahon interfered
* Nothing special... Steve Blackman is boring as hell and Test is improving, but I don't think he can still carry Blackman to a decent contest. Shane then ran in from the back and attacked Test which led to Blackman getting disqualified. Shamrock then ran in and was eventually nailed with a Singapore Cane (kendo stick). The shots were so loud, they could be heard throughout the arena. Then Shane and Blackman left and eventually, Shamrock and Blackman did, too.

- Kane and X-Pac over Acolytes by pinfall after a Chokeslam to retain the WWF Tag Team Titles
* During the match, the Undertaker and The Big Show stood on the ramp and watched along. Kane was double-teamed in the beginning and when X-Pac came in, he was bulldogged by Faarooq. Eventually, X-Pac made the hot tag to Kane and he cleaned house and eventually nailed a chokeslam on Faarooq for the duke, while X-Pac nailed the Bronco Buster on Bradshaw to a loud pop. Afterwards, Kane and X-Pac were beat up again. I believe it was by Taker and Wight, but I am not sure since I didn't write it down.

- Hardcore Holly interview
* Hardcore Holly came out to a great heel pop and said that he was upset at the WWF for The Big Show chokeslamming him. He then called out his "cousin," Crash Holly, who is almost identical to him and about 8 inches shorter. Crash then said that Hardcore Holly is good, but nothing compared to Crash himself. Holly then attacked him.

- Mankind over Chyna by pinfall after the Socko Mandible Claw in a #1 Contender's match for Summerslam.
* Shawn Michaels came out to do commentary while Triple H was shown being held back on the Titan Tron backstage from interfering in this match. Eventually, however, during midway through the match, Triple H came out on the Raw ramp... Socko was put on Chyna after she was distracted by Hunter on the ramp way and aisle. Chyna fell down to the canvas while the Mandible Claw was still on her and Mick Foley got the pin to become the #1 contender for Summerslam. Following the pinfall, Triple H ran in and nailed Mick in the knee. Shane McMahon comes down on the ramp way. Shane said that there was a conspiracy from everyone stealing Helmsley's Summerslam main event WWF Title shot. He then announced that Mick Foley would take on Triple H in the main event on War Zone with the winner finally going to Summerslam to face Stone Cold Steve Austin, the WWF Champion. Shane said that he would serve as the special guest referee. Then, Shawn Michaels, who got up from the commentary position, came out and said the match would still be on, but he would be the second special guest referee, to which the crowd popped big, as you would expect. HBK also announced that the match would be no-holds-barred (aren't all of Foley's matches no-holds-barred?) and falls count anywhere. Crowd popped big again.

- Undertaker & The Big Show over Val Venis & the Godfather by pinfall after a Tombstone
* Val Venis came out to a great pop, and the Godfather's was even bigger. Godfather brought out 4 ho's with him and Val Venis made a joke about the Big Valbowski having a lot in common with the WWF Attitude video game. He said that you play with the joystick on both and never put us down, but then he said that WWF Attitude has to be removed from the game counsel, but the Big Valbowski must be inserted in. Crowd cracks up. Kane and X-Pac come out to watch along on the ramp... The Undertaker and TBS have been out so much already, crowd doesn't pop for them much anymore and no one really cares much. Wight chokeslammed both opponents and the Undertaker nailed a tombstone on the Godfather for the 1-2-3. Afterwards, both Holly's run in and get beat up. Then, the Acolytes run in and tangle with The Big Show and the Undertaker. While both Holly's battled it out with Wight and the Taker, at ringside, a funny incident occurred where a crazy fan slapped Hardcore Holly across the back.

- Mr. Ass & The Rock interview
* Mr. Ass came out and said that it is a big tragedy what has happened to his ass and that it will never be the same again as it is scarred. He then stated that come Summerslam, The Rock's face will look worse than his ass. The Rock came out to the second biggest pop of the night, next to Austin. The Rock then said that he has finally come back to Milwaukee to a huge pop, and that Billy Gunn suffers from diarrhea because he's a big piece of chicken shit. The Rock then made fun of Gunn's theme music, and said it should say "Well, I'm an asshole!," which the crowd popped big for. He then said that he would lay the smack down on Ass' roody poo candy ass. The Rock then called out the girl from this week's installment of G-TV, who is the one who gave Mr. Ass that ass massage. The Rock then made it clear that the reason why Ass' ass itches so much and has a rash is because the lady put poison ivy on his ass, which the crowd just laughed crazily at and popped big for again. The Rock asked the lady where she is from and she said "Chicago," which led to all boo's (except from me, since that's where I'm from, hehe). The Rock asked her if she likes pancakes and then he said that she should go and pancake her ass all the way to Chicago, which the crowd popped big for yet again. The Rock then came down towards the ring, but was nailed by a kendo stick inside by Gunn and was badly beaten outside by him, too. Mr. Ass, after nailing The Rock "unconscious," said "If ya smell what Mr. Ass is cookin'," and with that, he put up The Rock's face to his ass. Afterwards, after The Rock made it backstage, he was interviewed briefly by Michael Cole. He said that at Summerslam, Gunn would kiss his ass, which obviously led to another giant pop.

- Triple H vs. Mankind in no-holds-barred, falls count anywhere match for #1 Contender's slot at Summerslam, HBK & Shane are special guest referees.
* Austin comes out to a giant roar from the crowd, which was the biggest pop of the night. He does commentary for the main event. Shane out, to more asshole chants. HBK out to a good face pop. Mankind came out again and good a good face heat reaction from the fans in attendance. Triple H, out for like the 100th time, gets boo's, but no one really seems to care anymore. Mankind dominates the early part of this match with a running knee to the face of Triple H, but Mankind then missed a DDT on the Raw ramp when HHH slipped out of the way. The crowd was so burned out at these 3 tapings and 1 dark match, which lasted about 3 hours and 40 minutes total, that more fans were entertained by about paper airplanes that fans made than the main event match itself. Triple H then went to work on Mick's knee, eventually snapping on a Figure 4 Leg Lock, but Mankind surely didn't give up, as you would expect. Mankind then brought in a chair, which I believe Shane took away, which led to Shawn and Shane arguing over it, since it was a hardcore match and anything was legal... Mankind then nailed a front DDT on Hunter and the Socko Mandible Claw as well. However, the Claw was turned into a belly-to-back suplex on the steel chair laying in the ring that Mick brought in, and Triple H put his arm over Foley while Foley put his arm over Mick simultaneously. Shawn counted down HHH and Shane counted down Foley, so no one really knew what the final decision was until Shane and Shawn negotiated and talked it over with the ring announcer and some other people, and it was announced that both men won the match and that both were #1 contender's for Summerslam vs. Austin on 8/22. As a result, the match was made into a three-way Triple Threat match with Austin defending the WWF Title vs. Mankind vs. Triple H!... At that moment, I left to see some of the wrestlers that hadn't already left leave, so I didn't see anything past that, but that's supposed to be where Raw goes off the air. I am guessing Austin did his usual 15 Stunners afterward and drank his 10 beers since he came out of the arena all sweaty, which really wouldn't make sense if he wasn't involved physically in any way, since he was just a special guest commentator for the main event match. Even though I can't confirm that he was involved, but it sure seems like he was.
