This weeks show is from South Philli, The Place
where it all Began, The
ECW Arena.
The show started off saying, Raven is back in ECW after walking out on
WCW and Eric Bischoff.
We now go to Joey Styles who is standing in ring. He calls out tonights guest
who is the ECW World Champion Taz. Joey announces that the FMW
Promotion is
sending out Masato Tanaka (A former ECW Star) to take on Taz for the ECW
World Title at ECW's next PPV Anarchy Rulz. Taz did not doubt Tanaka could
take his title away from him, but Taz still guarantees that he would drop
Tanaka on his head and choke him out. Taz said he was not a 50 year old
champ, wearing red and yellow and he doesn't need support from a woman. Taz
said that he had Roots in Red Hook, NY and South Philadelphia. Taz was
talking about how he has been with the company since the beginning and how
people complained that he is too stiff. Taz said that is why he wants to
wrestle Tanaka because he knows Tanaka and can take it. A fan starts
interrupting Taz while his interview. After that Taz says he would make
Tanaka tap.
We now go to some clips of the Raven vs. Tommy Dreamer
match witch took
place
on April 8, 1995 where Beulah (Tommy Dreamers X girl friend) debuted. Styles
told us whether Tommy likes it or not he is now tag champs with Raven.
Uganda vs. Tom Marquez
Uganda ended the match with a Running Senton Splash. After the match
Uganda
hit a top rope splash on Marquez.
We now see more clips of the Dreamer vs. Raven Fued. Tommy Dreamer’s
piledriving of Beulah from April 15, 1995 was shown.
Balls Mahoney vs. Axl Rotten
This match was hardcore and I mean hardcore. After a few minutes of the
match
they took it to the outside. Axl got a pair of scissors and then cut open
Balls' head with them. They go Back in the ring. We were about to see a
battle of the chairs, but then the "Original Gangsta" New Jack came out. New
Jack as ussual brought out a trash can full of weapons.NJ also bought out a
spike witch was used on both Axl and Balls. Balls took out New Jack with a
bodyslam for the win. Axl was punching Balls hard in the head a few times, on
the fifth shot Balls was down. Axl goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count.
Then Axl put a trashcan over Balls’ head and started hitting it the trachcan
with a chair. Axl got the win off that. When the match ended, Axl called for
Balls’ music Balls' song came on and they Raised and Shook hands. I think
they are Tag Partners again.
We know go to other clips of Raven and Dreamer this one was from 1995. It
showed a few clips from their matches in 95.
They show some more Raven and Dreamer clips. We saw Beulah beat Luna
Vachon
that match took place on June 17, 1995. Then we see footage of Raven
breaking
Dreamer’s fingers. We saw Tommy Dreamer save Beulah as she told the
wrestling
world she was pregnant with his kid witch took place on January 5, 1996. We
now see Tommy leave Raven down and out. We now see clips of when Tommy
beat
Raven for the first time witch took place on June 7, 1997.
We see clips Raven and Dreamer winning the tag belts from The Madhouse Of
Extreme In Queens, NYC. Then Taz beating Tajiri was shown also from The
Madhouse.
In the ring, Steve Corino berated Tajiri for not getting the job done at the
Madhouse
and made fun of his food (Chinese food). Tajiri is Japanese Dumbo Corino.
Rhino, Jack Victory and Steve Corino were about to take out Tajiri but
Super Crazy ran in and saved Tajiri. After the save Tajiri nailed SC with a kick
(Corino’s speech was a set up). As all for men where on there way to leave
Super Crazy hit a Splash from the Top-Rope on all four men witch started the
nights main event.
Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Super Crazy
Tajiri dominated most of the match with his hard kicks and high flying moves.
After all the pain he took in the match Super Crazy was still able to end the
match and the match and the show with a Powerbomb.
