Due to the fact that the idea of a "Suggestion Box" for fan fiction was so popular, we have created this message board with the hope that everyone out there who has a fan fiction story idea...but not the time to write it, can submit their plot and perhaps another author will take a fancy to that particluar idea.
1. It has to be an original idea (no stealing from others here). Writers are free to submit their own ideas about stories already written as a challenge to see what another writer might do with it. Stories are allowed to have a similar theme, just try and make sure you're not intentionally copying a story that has already been written!!
2. It should be optional if you'd like to give the idea a title or not! Anyone who uses an idea should not be bound to use the title suggested!
3. Everyone that uses an idea from the board must write a reply and let us know where the story can be found! No need to do it until the story has been published, though!
4. Comments about the ideas may be allowed if it is the suggestion of a sub-plot! Other comments, like "I really like that idea and I would love to read it" should be sent directly to the author of the idea or it will be removed!! You shouldn't have to post your idea several times because the board is running out of space, so please be considerate about that! :)
4. Suggestions and plots like: "I really would like to know what happened to Theresa and Jeremiah!" need to have more to it than that - it should be almost like a prologue. But then the prologue can be long or very short, distinct or loosely based. Yet at the same time, we don't want the idea for the story to be longer than the story itself! :)
5. If you submit an idea I think you need to be aware that we'll allow the writers some freedom here - as long as they let you know what happened to the idea! Maybe you'll use only part of the idea, or get sidetracked and there's a new idea! However, if a writer use an idea, credit to the creator is obligatory! After all, that's only fair!
6. Keep in mind that this is a family-related page! Ideas which include profane/lude/R-rated material must not be posted on this board! If you wish to discuss ideas of such nature further, they must be tossed between you and the would-be author via e-mail. Thanks!
7. Most important...remember that this is strictly for fun! This page is also on a "trial" period here. If we should find that ideas are being abused, and rules are not being followed, it will be removed...*poof* just like that! Thanks for your support!
