These " Original Lampshades" have been "HANDMADE" with silk, satin and brocade. Frames are the best welded, dipped in a protective coating. Then wrapped in binding, lined and covered with attractive fabrics. Different colored trim is glued on and either fringe or beads applied. Some have dyed fringe.
